I never really played the first super meat boy, but I tried The Binding of Isaac for the Switch, and loooooove it, so since this game has the same creator, I think I would like to give it a try
Does the game feel more akin to Celeste? When I got SuperMeatboy I was trying to recapture the pure joy of playing Celeste but it didnt quite do it for me. I'm hoping this will be closer judging by the gameplay vids.
Yes and No, mainly because of the attitude and what it does halfway through Gameplay spoiler Basically imagine if in Celeste right when you’re at the summit it decided to make you use a lives system, and the lives system was the strawberries you collected until then, that’s what this game does However, from a gameplay perspective, I DO think it’s a lot more like Celeste, just be cautious it decides to throw away the whole “not frustrating” thing out the fucking window towards the end
