Forgive me, I don't know beans bout video games and I don't play them. Even back in the 80s I had no interest in Pac Man, Donkey Kong, Galaga, or whatever. That said as a history nut and aviation freak I so do enjoy videos like these from the IL-2 game. I have watched quite a few postings from different people but I can honestly say this one is exceptional (to me). The picture and the graphics(did I say that right?) are so crystal clear and clean and the editing is superb. Was a real treat for me to view, TJ3 Gaming.

You probably know this by now, but it helps not to hold the tail wheel on the ground. Once the tail starts flying, rotate as much as you can without placing the tail on the ground. But an MG so similar in range and firepower with the infantry MGs wasn't so effective.
For example the American Bombers were equipped with Browning 1919 and the huge 0.50 caliber Browning that was capable of even cutting out the wing of a fighter.

They would want to deny oil to their enemies. The Allies did sometimes have fuel shortages - for example the advance in eastern France stalled because of that in the late summer/autumn of 1944. This was despite laying the PLUTO pipeline across the English Channel. The Germans' shortages were more critical, however.
