Still upset that Lizbeth’s annoying ass got a whole ep. of introduction/development while Agil acts as a mere plot device. She’d be slightly more likable if she talked less and hammer the hot iron more but whatever. If he was gonna force the herem vibes I wish he would have at least made likable side characters besides the guys and Asuna. The closest we get to a likable female character in the first 2 seasons besides her is Sinon, and that’s because she is more of a main character than Kirito in the GGO arc…

The original premise of sao is much better than what it became, I thing season 1 and a part of season 3 are all that's required to truly enjoy it, nothing's wrong with season 4 but without season 2 it doesn't make complete sense
Sad he never got therapy to realize he wasn’t at fault. If he wasn’t there they may have still raided that dungeon floor, sprung the trap and died even faster. Then the guild leader would never have even found the truth that they all died, he’d just be waiting and waiting until he decided to ask around and find out they never escaped from the dungeon. They lived longer with Kirito.
Well as explanation point,pointed out this whole thing is so fucking stupid in every way,it can be that he is the reason this High level enemys spawn and if so it is fault,if it was a normal trap than it is his fault,because they are newbies to this kind of game and he is basicly an Expert,he had to explain these kinds of traps to them,the main problem is that the most people in SAO are just retarded

From my understanding, kirito's prescence makes higher level versions of monsters spawn, and thats why he blames himself. Had he let them go alone, he figures the lower level variants wouldve spawned instead and they wouldve had a better chance, instead of them all getting squad wiped. Though i would argue from a gamers prespective, that was the most obvious trap of traps. A single chest in an empty room usually means one of two things, 1, you just beat the boss and the chest contains your reward, or 2, ambush. And sometimes, 1 = 2 anyway. Also i dont even remember where keida (guild leader) went in the original, leaving his to be honest weak ass squad to fight through this dungeon they know nothing about, or their reasoning for going in the first place. I WISH they were actually in debt to the mob in the original, that would put a little more weight to why they took such a big risk, but alas.

Lots of people say this anime is ass, but to me it was the gateway to start, it was funny, sad, cool, and let me experience new feelings. don't let anyone tell you its bad.
It would've made more sense to say the dungeon level scaled unknowingly, and because his level was so much higher, everyone got killed by what should have been minor damage to a higher level player. That would ACTUALLY kind of be his fault and make for a more interesting dynamic.

You're such a sought after asset if you're high level, especially to people who are low level. You'd be like their guardian. I feel like there wasn’t any need for the creator to actually kill the players. Cuz they believed they would die and that was enough to make it a death game. No one had access to outside world so they couldn’t confirm if someone actually died
If players didn't die, people in the outside world would've taken the NerveGear off their heads or otherwise disconnected them from the game. After a few days, the players would've been able to reason they were being kept alive in hospitals. The fact the outside world was doing that rather than disconnecting them would've been proof Kayaba's threat was real. Also, PoH logged in after people died, and would've confirmed it at least to members of Laughing Coffin.

This whole show has moments where it just stabs you in the heart and then twists the knife. First, with Sachi, then Yui, Yuki, and finally, Eugeo
It also does a good job of continuously hurting you with smaller characters deaths, such as Diavel in the first episode.
