Sheesh we back here. Who needs VFD pshhh. I'd love to see how you build the side deck, so once again, gonna smash the living pancakes out of the like button.
Great video yacine, I enjoyed it. Have you ever considered running utopia beyond ? It's a great dragoon out and it can make a 4 material zeus. It can also otk if you combo it with stardust charge warrior.
Some Super techs for drytron that also uses beatrice yaccine, that would also be awesome, cuz VW cant fetch traps with auroradon or gryphon, also the vids to help you increase your winrate are awesome. Ty for the really good content keep it up man
Yooo man! Just wondering what you would recommend as a competitive deck for a new/beginner player? I’m just starting out in the world of yugioh and want something that’s decent (doesn’t have to be the easiest deck in the world as I’m prepared to grind and want to learn the game). Anyways your videos are awesome and are helping me learn what’s currently good and some nice combos. Keep up the great work man!!
Im not sure but, I dont really feel gamma in vw. When u want to resolve it you already have at least one monster on the board. Im playing this deck actively for one month but got to resolve it maybe twice...its just a brick in my opinion. Yeah you can special it with ermergency teleport to get easier to crystal wing, but this almost never comes up. Thinking what to put in as a replacement...maybe imperm?
I would agree with you, except for those situations where you just need that one monster to resolve and you can suddenly play. Gamma is so helpful against Apollousa too. It's a valuable asset.
I play Caliga instead of Dragoon. Mainly because I can’t afford Dragoon Also combo video would be nice Would also like to say that you are killing it this year. Top 3 Yugituber for me bb
Actually, Virtual world only needed something strong like vfd and they have it not so it is tier 1 the only thing they got hit something big is vfd banned all this time they are so powerful
@@Boristien405 ye you already mentioned the main thing though. if your deck is full of 1 and 2 card combos then tacticts is insanely good but if your deck is struggling a little with the consitency then tactics can sometimes feel like a blank card wheras something like desires can always be activated to hopefully unbrick your hand. so yea for the meta combo decks its probably a must have but Rogue decks for example might not all work well with it
@@Boristien405 yea i just feel like you have to be careful with it not make your deck get inconsistent because of it. its like playing pot of avarice in a deck that gets alot of cards to the graveyard. in theory the card is absolutely insane but when you have a bad hand and cant do anything avarice wont be able to help you while desires would be able to. its kinda another form of win more where your deck gets better when you are already in a good position but youre not fixing your actual issue
1-2 card combos aren't what make Tactics good. It's when your deck has a lot of extenders. Drawing into more HOPT starters when you have already normal summoned, for example, is not helping.
what do you guys think about gamma? must of the times i feel like we need normal summon a monster to start our engine. In this scenario gamma is useless. Would like to hear some opinions
It has a lot of synergy with the deck and when it works, it's great. Problem is, it often doesn't. I was talking to another VW player about this at locals yesterday. He's already taken his gamma package out and has found he bricks a lot less. On the subject of normal summoning, toutou gets a hard time but I'm considering *trying* 2-3 copies because it's great to see turn 1. Really helps out in getting the tzolkin package started and certainly won't hurt if you're aiming for beatrice.
@@diocanguro3211 for sure thanks. So basically you get the negate effect from dragoon but not the destroy and burn because you didn't use the vanillas, if I'm understanding this right.
@@diocanguro3211 thanks for the clarity. I had a really consistent Invoked Dragoon deck that ended on Dragoon and Calamities that enabled me to otk the following turn, but obviously I can't play that anymore and I've been looking for another way to play it with more than just Mechaba and Dragoon as an end board. This Tzolkien to Crystal Wing combo may be what I'm looking for.
you can use gamma + level 6 synchro like stardust charge warrior to make crystal without the investment into ultimaya. instead of ultimaya I would personally run downerd since you can always lower 3 ranks of fanfan with chuche and then use the downerd on top of it as well as using it for 4 material zeus with fortune tune
I would like to see combos btw
I second and raise you a testing video 👀
Same
yes yes yes to the side decks! huge part of the profile, so glad you're gonna be including them
I still believe it is arguably the strongest main deck that just doesn't have a super solid end board or a jack of all trades like VFD.
Dracos go brrr
lvl-rank3/6/9 go brrrr
It's best boards lose to spell cards, and it's 'safe' boards aren't strong enough.
@@ninezerotwo1778 depends on what you are playing in your extra deck as vw player

Caliga > dragoon
@@itchigo3245 dragoon > caliga
Dragoon definitely gets people more tilted. 🤣🤣
Been seeing a ton of success with this deck recently

Interested in the combos !
Do you take Battle Damage when you attack a Monster with Fortune Tune activating its effect to not get destroyed?
yes, also the effect to not destroy doesnt activate. it is an "instead of effect"
This very morning i had an awesome duel against a virtual world with skill drain, this format seems to be made purposely great for vw
This is my favorite new deck. Love your techs
I liked, nice video!
would you say every combo deck should play 2-3 tactics this format?
