I got one myself in Germany. The one in the Video here must be built between 1969 amd 1972 and got US-Ametican dirction flash lights in the 1990th. I guess he had spend at least part of its life in Mexiko or Venezuela or Columbia.
1979 does not fit to the door-handles and the holes in the doors won't make it possible to fit the older (pre 1973) ones, not even in Southern America, or it is a 1979 one and got older doors. The doors from 1969 to 1972 also would fit after 1972, including the door handles.
Caminhão fabricado no Brasil e exportado pros EUA! O motor é o OM352A, aqui no Brasil teve os 1116 também, porém são raros! Na época deram preferência pro 1516 por ser melhor de balança (ou seja, mais capacidade de carga)

Fabricou os 1116 ,1316 e 1516, porém os 1116 são muito raros de se ver. Outro bom caminhão que a Mercedes fez foi o 1319 esse sim para exportação ai pelo ano de 1985. Esse teve algumas unidades vendidas no Brasil, mas também é difícil de ver. O 1319 praticamente é o pai do 1621,pois JÁ era motor 366 LA intercoolado.
In my country,this truck is actually a bit scary. They always call this a "Ghost truck"✌😑✌. Idk why. Some of them say that they were full of rust,wooden door instead of standard. Sounds creepy too. But idk. What about you guys?
