Cant ask for a better place to grow up. I'm now traveling the wrold because I meet amazing people from all over the world in this little place of heaven.
I live in Perth Australia, people say its not good here and there is nothing to do. This video proves that is some good things around and new places coming!
WA is awesome, if you can’t find great things to do, you’re not looking... even as a local, head for the tourist information centre, chat with the assistant, grab some brochures & get out there & adventure...I did that on a holiday from

Freo is amazing! Being from the east coast of Australia everytime I go to Perth Freo is always on my list of things to visit - especially the Little Creatures Brewery.

I have been lucky enough to go to Perth a few times ( I have friends there ) , I really love e Perth such a great place, great city with great beaches and the weather, also love Fremantle it's the first place I go to see , to me it's what you imagine Australia to be like as they have kept a lot of the old buildings, a Must visit if you go to Australia, the mint where they used to make there money is worth a visit as well, walking around you hear music , of all sorts, jazz, blues , rock playing , just an awesome place.
Agree with you on Perth Michael. It's a very liveable city and I like the fact that it has everything you could want/need but isn't TOO big. For a country girl like me, it's perfect! I never went to the Mint but thanks for mentioning it, as others may now go and check it out :) Yes! The music and general arts scene in Freo is what really appeals to me I think. Just love the place!
Too bad I didn't have the chance to visit freemantle when I visited perth last month. I didn't know that the market only open on friday, sat and sun until the day I planned to go there. I arrived on monday, flight back on friday haha.
I'll be back for you Freemantle... I'll be... back... *small eyes.
I think a lot of people get caught out with it Tom! Haha...I'm sure Freo will be waiting expectantly for your return. You definitely do need to try and go, I love the place!! :D
So... I went to Cottesloe beach instead. Same direction to freemantle anyway if you use the train from perth city, and... I said to myself...
"well... at least I can enjoy the beach". You know... when in doubt - just go to the beach, it'll almost definitely top off other tourist attraction that you want to visit right?
Upon arriving, there was almost NOBODY.
It was WINTER... so...

It was somewhat chilly, but I thought that's normal there in perth considering the sky is blue and the sun shining like a champion...
but nope... wrong again...
Lesson here : don't be lazy like tom, and do some research first before travelling to anywhere. smh :P

Ooh yes! Definitely take the opportunity to head over to Freo. Make sure it is on a Fri, Sat or Sun for the best experience :)
