At least last season Jarry seemed to have regained his 22-23 and before confidence, he had like 8 or 9 shutouts, scored a goal, but he would either be amazing or awful. Seems like it's the same this season, without the many shutouts, so far. I wish he was able to get back to where he used to be pre 22-23 injury...
@ I was being sarcastic at the great defense lol Edit: I’m not seeing games, just highlights. Seems we get ahead then run out of gas making some bad plays. Yes goaltender isn’t top notch while defense doesn’t seem to be either then Father Time catching up except to Sid. He’s like Brady.
@@PenguinsDigest first off I’m from Pittsburgh area, black and gold fan my entire life, all 3. Grew up on north eastern Allegheny border with butler Westmoreland and Armstrong county (I was in Allegheny (deer lakes HS, 44 years old now). After watching tonight’s highlights vs the Seattle, Jarry gave up easy shorty. Then at 4:08 letang tries a unclalled for pass, turns it over. Sets up a break for Seattle from mid ice. As Seattle shots you can see Jarry leaves opening on the short side. They missed but still finished same way later. I give respect to you following and understanding what’s going on more with the pens. As a, how can I put it, die hard or passionate fan but not watching every game (lived in nyc past 16 years, this same with Steelers and buccos). I’m only going off what I see in the highlights. You got a better understanding of what is truly going on. From my perspective, we’re bad at defense and goaltending while giving up leads as if there’s a special prize for doing it. I understand the pens greatness can’t last forever. It’s just more painful still having Sid, winning so many games then losing. I’d rather get our butts kicked instead of these teasers. Keep up the work as I’ll follow.
I agree with you about the goaltending, defense, and blown leads. I also agree that the Pens' greatness was never going to last forever. But those of us who stay loyal like you and me will still be here when the Penguins, Pirates, and Steelers turn it around.
Idk if I'd call up too many players from WBS because Pittsburgh as it stands doesn't look like a playoff team , I think Pittsburgh should wait till next year to bring up there younger players
I would say that is more reason TO call them up. You want to know what you have and how far the young players are from being key contributors. I like sprinkling younger players in as much as possible. Pickering is a perfect example of one who has been a big help. I would like to see Rutger McGroarty and Joel Blomqvist maybe even Poulin get another shot by the end of this season.
Bunting and Heineman (MTL) with 24 hours having vehicular accidents, Heineman was just outside the arena in Salt Lake City, walking. He must not be used to the normal driving from his native Sweden and in Montreal and then the insanity that is American drivers 🤣 Sorry, but I've driven south into the US often, as I lived 10 minutes from the border from New Hampshire as a kid/teenager, I went to surf in that southeast NH nice summer/beach town and the more south I got the more I had to watch out for bad drivers, most who got me to watch out in front of me were from New York State or Ohio admittedly. It sucks to lose Heineman for up to a month, I think Bunting is gonna miss much less games right?
Bunting is already back, yes. It was very minor and he was held out for precautionary reasons. I'm happy it was not worse than it was and surprised these things don't happen more often to your point of players driving in different countries.
Great. They found Malkin's Stanley Cup rings, but his game is still missing.
LOLOLOL. That's wild but not untrue.

I don't think he was ever going to get back to that version of Jarry. I'm glad he's gone.
Is it just goaltending or part of having a great defense?
I am confused... isn't that counterintuitive? Or what do you mean by that?
