Anyways, you should try to check on East Papuan coffee, they had gotten much much better facilities recently and much better specialty coffee. The taste is unique and these coffees are hard to harvest due to its geolocation but damn its probably worth it.

The fellow stagg is ironically perfect for tricolate that can do fast and slow pour as well and hold enough water to make 400ml of coffee.
A con of Stagg is you can't get very close to the coffee ground. This reduces the efficiency when you bloom your pour over as you need to get them wet as even and quick as possible. Its not that bad though as I've only used stagg for my whole coffee journey.
The best of the best gooseneck kettles are the kettles that allows you to get very close to the ground and promotes itself to be able to allow you to pour at 90° angle

Thanks for sharing! That's an interesting point you make for the bloom. I agitate the bloom immediately so it wets every granule but I guess you could also tilt the filter slightly towards the neck to get in closer. I honestly haven't found a huge difference in taste and my blooms take 30secs but I'm not making competition level pourovers

@@Rydecoffeecoach it definitely doesn't seem much but it can help a little more in certain recipes like my favorite single pour. I need to bring out maximize the bright flavor so its going to taste amazing and feel satisfied. Though I cant probably taste it either because coffee is contextual when it comes to drinking.
