    I bought the 2023 OVR Navigate, took delivery in June 2023. I ordered all the off grid equipment, outdoor kitchen, and awning. I've been full time in the RV since I picked it up at the dealer and have been really happy with its performance and comfort.
    There's three upgrades to the unit based on my preferences...I swapped out the mattress and installed a 10" queen size memory foam. I bought a 4500 watt dual fuel generator that I haul in my truck in case I'm boondocking without electric hookups. Also, I bought the Delta Eco Flow Max power station including the optional battery for a total 7600 watts of power.
    This fall, while in the North Georgia mountains, I was able to stay off grid using only my power station for everything for 9 days, except the air conditioner, and only used 25%. The weather was cool enough that all I needed was a table fan for the interior and it was more than comfortable.
    So far, after almost 6 months full time in this travel trailer, it's been a really great experience and I can't say enough about the build quality of this unit.
    Cons: Just a few. Intech should find a way to tamper proof the black and grey tank dump handles. My initiation to the RV life consisted of me checking to make sure both handles were pushed in, only to unscrew the cap for the dump line to attach the hose and I got hit with whatever waste was sitting inside the pipe. Someone had pulled the handles then pushed them back in. It was a disgusting mess.

    Great no slide layout. No slide, outdoor kitchen setup keep setup/breakdown simple. More time to sleep, fish,hike, bike, drink ice tea, eat and repeat. Thanks for the review. No one does them better than you! Sitting behind a table talking is under-utilizing your great talent.

    Just walked through one - it is gorgeous and for a no-slide mid-size rig it is surprisingly spacious. And the build quality is outstanding. Our leading candidate - w outdoor kitchen and off-grid option my wife and i could do a week in it with zero issues. And for those who wonder, it also has an option for a drop down bunk over the table that folds up and away when not in use. Great for grandkids! 😊

    Need to talk about the suspension system on the trailer. That is one of the biggest problems with Armorican trailers. Not heavy duty, not independent. You should look up the Company, Bruder, from Australia to see what a suspension system should be. Especially for off grid, driving off road.

    I really love this trailer. I have always loved the Terra, but there is so little storage for clothing and other items. The pantry in this unit is a valuable add. I also love the window above the bed. However, the one thing I really need is a second bed for my teens, and I wish the L-shaped sofa converted to provide additional sleeping space.

    This trailer checks off a lot of boxes for me. The two areas of concern imo is it needs a rear bumper in order to mount the spare tire on a swing away in order to access the storage. Second I didn’t hear if there is a black tank flush. Otherwise this is what I’m looking for. Thank you for the information.

    The good? Bigger dinette. The bad? They took out their signature jaw-dropping window to put an ugly tire. Intech, take off the ugly tire, put back the picture tilt glamorous window and I'll trade my current Sol in. That window is a real conversation starter at campgrounds. Pls put that on these models.

    On their promo site they show this unit , with a family of four, yet not one video I have seen show the dinette has being convertible into a sleeping area , and this trailer is supposed to be an off the grid overland type more rugged , yet it has the same suspension as the Terra series , nothing like the Palomino Pause, the Black series , or like other Australian trailer imitations, oh it is super nice , yet it looks like them , but has none of their attributes.

  • @tanggololongproductions

    Looks like any other Australian made caravan on the outside. The only difference is the door configuration. Intech can sell this in Australia, just with minor tweeks.. (Bobs your uncle) you have an intech Rv dealership in Australia.

  • @ClockworkCrane

    How do you feel about this compared to the inTech Terra? It seems like a lot of the interior is almost identical to the Terra. Who might want a Navigate over a Terra or vice versa?
    Thanks PJ!

    • @wilddog9
      @wilddog9 2 года назад +2

      The Navigate seems built specifically for off-road travel, whereas the Terra (even the Rover package) isn't really built for that. Look at the plating along the entire exterior of the lower part of the trailer. That'll help keep the trailer well-maintained with most of the abuse hitting the plates as you go off-road. With the Terra, you'll have all sorts of dings and scratches. The big windshield on the Terra is also more prone to off-road damage (unless you keep it covered, of course!)
      This is my opinion

      @PrincessCraft  Год назад +1

      Well, in the six or seven years that we’ve carried the InTech brand, I don’t recall seeing delaminating exterior walls on an InTech product. The outer most layer on these trailers is aluminum, not fiberglass.

  • @RosanneKSart

    I like the layout and the fact that there is no slide out , What I don't like is there is no oven , Microwave ovens are not good when you are off grid unless you want to run a generator. We have a microwave and oven in our TT we go off grid the majority of the time so we mainly use the stove top and the oven , we may have used the microwave 3 times in the last 6 years we owned our TT. I also don't like the fridge it would be draining the batteries the whole time. We have solar and two batteries which is just enough to run our lights, fans, radio, and sometimes TV at night until we get the sun the next day and if you don't get any sun then you have to run your generator . This is not of grid friendly.

    I’m Rather shocked as these are slated to a more off-road adventure oriented trailer. Intechs DNA is in toy haulers and there isn’t a viable option in this line in my opinion. I have a flyer Discover which has more than enough room and is a perfect size but it has no hot water and no bathroom/toilet. The only other solution now is to The adventure model which is literally 50% bigger and heavier. Why they don’t offer the other two smaller oh VR models in a toy hauler set up is beyond me. After reflecting all I can say is thank Intech for not providing me a product that I have to double my debt and upgrade too.

      The larger OVR is bigger and heavier, but at close to the same price point, and weight is not much heavier than the smaller 2. More space is nice for storage or toys. But larger footprint can make things difficult
