I have the 360 S5 and for 200$ Canadian with lidar and multi level floor plan it is the best bang for the buck!!! The only issue that I will show in my review is with black carpet it thinks it will fall over 😒 and as a hard time navigating the black colour on the floor. 🤷‍♂️

I'm still hesitant on getting the 360 S10 or Dreame L10 Pro... Can't decide, although S10 has a lot more features.
You showed a cross pattern on the carpet. Does it have the same for mopping?

Happy New Year!! In your personal opinion, which robot would you recommend for lots of pet fur (two long haired cats). My house is mostly carpeted (medium pile) and has two small areas with hardwood (dining room) and laminate (kitchen)?

Just got this bot a couple days ago, so far I really like it. I don't have pets so don't have to worry about the pet waste issue. I don't mind that it doesn't have a self empty dock, emptying the bin is no big deal and those self empty stations take much more space and being in a two bedroom apartment, my space is somewhat limited. It seems to clean really well, one interesting thing about the max power setting, it runs at the highest speed for a couple minutes, than the speed goes down slightly although it's still higher than the "powerful" setting which is the setting below max. I do wish the speed would remain at where it starts, I'm not sure if it's designed that way or if it's a bug. The app has some unique settings that I have not seen on my other robots, although there is one setting that I can't think of any reason to change. There is a setting to disable the drop sensors, when you do that, the app warns you that this will make the robot prone to falling down stairs, again, why anyone would disable that is beyond me. This is robot number 8 for my collection and I'm glad I got it.

Hi Adam, I just got a Shark IQ for Christmas. It is one of the worst pieces of Tech I have ever owned. Very disappointed and it’s getting returned. I like this 360 but it’s pricey. Can you recommend a vacuum in the $650 price range with a self empty bin and the best mapping ability in that price. The main thing I didn’t like about the Shark was the mapping and the constant bumping into furniture which started leaving scrapes on the furniture after about 6 or 7 uses. I don’t have any pets or small children and all hard surfaces so suction isn’t a big concern.

Yes its a true POS....I would say if u can afford a bit more keep an eye out for the roborock s7+ to go on sale...do you care about mopping?

@@AdamsReviews Thanks Adam for the quick response. I don't really care about mopping. Let's say I also drop the self empty bin. Would it still be the RoborockS7. The 360 S10 is only $600 Walmart so it is in my price range after all.

Lidar isn't good for obstacle avoidance. Even the camera on the S9 plus does better.

I can only go by my experience. I tried the T8 and own the Z10( 3d laser). Both couldn't avoid a sock under the bed, my S9 plus did

@@richardsmith1161 My N8 Pro avoids socks just fine. I found that the LiDAR obstacle avoidance is more reliable than camera AI system on the T8 AIVI except for stretched out cords which were often too thin for the lasers to pick up. AI only avoids things it's programmed for (bad for dogfood bowls), lasers avoid everything they see (bad when you want it to go through your curtains/bed skirt).

@@mindaugas1906 I love the Z10 pro. It's my daily driver, it does almost everything well. I turned off the Object avoidance, didn't seem consistent

@@richardsmith1161 which almost its selling point. Dreame d9 is same robot without avoidance and cheaper. dust bin is then only plus. Hmm.
