I am 77 yrs and feel the pain on both sides of partition in 1947 . Now we remain removed from our roots. But after living in India as Sikh, our heart goes out for the muslim Miniorty, the way are going through the daily humiliation being heaped on them by Extremist Hindutva for forces with the top ruling class divulging fire with impunity. Except a brave section of Social Media, the so-called main stream media is adding fuel the fire. This is how Ismat Chughtai story is far more relevant today in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh !
