Clint was lovely looking back then. 5:40. Same goes for people like Robert Smith of The Cure and William from Jesus and Mary Chain, Peter Murphy, Daniel Ash of Bauhaus, all so beautiful back in the day.
I agree! I had a picture of Clint stuck in my college folder back in the day. I passed my driving test and got my first car. And there he was, hitch-hiking. No, not Clint (alas!), but a guy who looked a HELL of a lot like him. Needless to say, I stopped the car immediately - LOL! We gave him a lift and I thought that was the last I'd see of him, but having gathered the small town we all came from, he made an appearance there a few days later and bumped into me, asked me out etc. He told me he was swooning a bit when we were all chatting in the car and really wanted to see me again. We even got engaged after a while, but I called it off eventually, as we lived together for a while and I could just tell it wouldn't work long term, we'd drive each other totally mad. Fun times, and it was good while it lasted. I still occasionally watch videos of PWEI and think how similar Clint looked to that guy. Blimey, that was a trip down memory lane, sorry for boring you there! Ah, young love eh!
As I remember gigs at that time The Greyhound/Hammersmith odeon/Town & Country Audiences were a hard crowd still hung over from the punk era spit & sawdust venues it was 100% more volatile then, mosh pits were brutal I imagine that's why we have plastic pints now as people chucked bottles at the bands back then! The interviewer must have seen the blues brothers?! LOL
Poppies for ever

riffs. yea
Can you dig it?
This woman is a horrible interviewer. She had nothing to ask them about their music she just focussed on some stupid incidents.
The interviewer only wanted to focus on negative stuff.
