I only just discovered this through youtube .For a start I love It!!!!!!!!!! and second I did not know Psychedelic folk existed or should I say a music category Sunforest I love it and hope you are well.
Check out The Incredible String Band’s 1967 and 1968 albums, Dr. Strangely Strange, the first 3 Tyrannosaurus Rex albums, Donovan, solo Syd Barrett, and solo Skip Spence for more psychedelic folk.
See the joker on his way Thinks that he can rule the day Gypsy in her caravan Connected with another land Sad and funny but it's not so wise They roam their worlds awhile Anticipation in their eyes I teach them how to smile ??? Wizard sitting on his throne Doesn't know he's all alone Pirates digging in caverns Digging gold to pay the taverns Sad and funny but it's not so wise They roam their worlds awhile Anticipation in their eyes I teach them how to smile ??? So if you think you're where you are Beware you're far away A mystery that has no clue Where are you, where are you?
Thanks Michael. There's talk of re-releasing the album, maybe with some bonus tracks. Check out my you tube channel, also my website. Terry Tucker & Sunforest
I get you but you realize they would like most of the flower children be in there 70's and 80's but I agree that would be grate. There are many underground bands today that have been influenced by stuff like this all you have to do is dig through youtube and find them.
What an absolutely incredible song. Anyone else think this song has a beautiful chord sequence?
don't remember how long ago i discovered this song, but I'm glad to have found it again, glad it's getting recommended to people
It's sad that almost nobody knows the tunes of this band...
Tell everyone, then they will know. Seriously
This is easily one of THE most underrated albums of the 60s. Show people this album, and just wait until they hear Peppermint Store........ ;-D
