It's so sad to watch clips like this because you know that old school managers like Jim Leyland would get fired for doing this to star players these days.
@@MrDodger3222 this may be the dumbest comment I’ve ever read! Of course his numbers matter to the manager. That’s what they base their lineups on hahahahaha
@@bradspence6230 Agreed. I grew up in the STL area and remember Andy Van Slyke with the Cardinals, before he was traded to Pittsburgh. I even met him when he was a rookie. He used to be on the radio in STL and he would talk about Leyland and Bonds, and that Leyland wanted to win so badly that he didn't want to let him take a day off. He (Leyland) said, "who else am I going to play, F-ing (John) Cangelosi?" 🤣

Surprised Leyland didn't do to Bonds, what Lou Pinella did to Rob Dibble!
Haha... get em Jim . Barry was an all time great even without the steroids . But still an all time prick too.
Barry needs a spanking sometimes
69er!
Lmao!😅😅😅
You don’t talk to Barry like that.
Why should a manager care what your stats are??
