After watching this movie I was like “ Orey om raut ninnu a kurchini madathapeti”. Prashant Varma is next big thing in Indian cinematic Universe. Sir I will pay you the other half of my lifetime if you release a masterclass on how you shot the last 20 mins of the movie. Truly scintillating experience.

I wish Prashant Varma explore all historical characters from our Ithihasa(s) and introduce them to the Indian Cinema so that, the present generation and the new generation will have the enthusiasm to know more about our cultural roots.

I am from Maharashtra, watched the dubbed hindi version in Chennai. Extremely good background music. Have watched Karthikeya 2 too. Bros from Telugu film industry have been making some really good movies. Good job.
Please do try and watch the Telugu version with subtitles as well...I believe you will like it even more.
@@praneethaa_18 Yes I have watched the Telugu version too with the subtitles. I liked the Hindi version a lot because the film makers made it instead of external dubbing, they made songs too, the dialogues are extremely well, they carried same messages but with different tone. I found the villain dialogues funnier in Hindi version. The anjanadri theme and romantic song was good too.

Hanuman is also one of the good movie by prashanth varma. But zombie reddy is still best work by prashanth varma. Its a perfect blend of faction and zombie which no one dares to touch it but Prashanth varma pulled off like ace. I recommend you to watch that movie. Its a low budget movie though but it still hook you till the end.

I just saw this movie in Gold Coast yesterday and it was nearly housefull. I felt the movie was small as it was so good and engaging that it was not boring even a scene. Every actor did good. The villain did also as villain in Vishal's Detective and Doctor too. Very good music bgm, screenplay, cinematography and laughed a lot in some scenes. Given the budget they did great job. Interval and climax scenes are amazing.

Hello Barbell, I love your reviews and often agree with them. We think exactly the same way sometimes and pick at the same flaws. I watched HanuMan yesterday 1st day 1st show which is a rarity for me and absolutely loved it. I was dying to watch your review of the same. This is exactly the kind of intelligent/smart story telling we need more of. I am so happy that people are appreciating the film. Time and again small budget films with relatively unknown/small heroes prove that Content indeed is King! You don’t need big budgets, huge stars,theatre hogging and mindless promotions if you have a good story. I think it was a no brainer that the movie was going to be a huge hit when a relatively new director and hero went head on head with a mighty star and revered director that too for a Sankranthi release. Kudos to Prashanth Varma for his conviction.
I didn’t watch Animal movie but watched your review. I absolutely loved the fact that you stood by your opinion and called it out so unabashedly. I just didn’t understand why they simply picked on you and your channel when so many Hindi reviewers called it out too and said the movie was sub par. For instance, Tried and Refused Productions(though baised sometimes) is a good reviewer I follow for his Matlab Kuch Bhi series(which btw I want you to start for our Telugu movies) gave a negative review. He has over 1M subscribers and has more reach than you. When he gave a negative review and used few posters/scenes from the movie in his review, as did so many other reviewers all over, why did they single just you out to pick on? When they know their content sucks I guess people resort to such downright cheap stunts to pulldown genuine reviewers. More power to you and other genuine reviewers for rightfully calling out such films and their mafia tactics.
Another movie reviewer I absolutely love is Only Desi who does revisits of old movies. His research skills and comedy are just out of this world. Please do watch his content.

I knew that you didn't have great expectations when the trailer review was given. You didn't watch zombie Reddy. Didn't mention in trailer review also. Even that movie is a very routine formula.. we have seen in like tens of Hollywood and even Korean movies. But the way Prashant executed it was absolutely brilliant. You never get bored . This guy has more promise than many other star directors. Probably another rajamouli in making. Or even more. Watch out for him

Yes, that's absolutely correct! Zombie Reddy is very underrated movie, it didn't get the credit it's supposed to have. I enjoyed it and no Indian film about Zombie concept has executed that well. And yea, I felt sad that Barbell missed mentioning it, probably he didn't know that movie at all.

I felt it was just an average movie. Without the bgm at key moments and good performances by key roles, it would’ve been below average.
