So I pick old house electric devices like interruptors and that kind of things and I use their parts to the few airsoft replicas. Little bolts are good for grips, specially the 1911 ones, very similar to the real steel, and I also pick many parts from computer dust printers which come up with lots of stuff for electric replicas, and also many things we can use on this very kind of projects. Sounds weird, I know, but is is like this. Also if someone needs good hard pins, you can use the end of electrodes weld bits that they throw away, and there are always several diameters available. This sound completely crazy, but this is what I do... 😅
hey can you make a tutorial on how to make the cast/mold for the bullet? I have no idea how but i'd like to learn (youtube doesn't have any videos that i can find but if you can suggest one, that would be equally as good)
You should try making military decorations out of paper such as an Iron Cross (1st class)[in all variants], or a wound badge. It's just a suggestion. For your pistol, do you plan on making it an M1911 or an M1911A1?
for your lead bullets, go to a local fishing store, and purchase actual bullet weights and fill the center w/heated lead from what you have accumulated, make it to the caliber you want, then wala. a homemade lead bullet
How did you make the curves and such using paper mache? I know all of the stuff you make is real, but how did you make all the grooves in cylinder of the revolver? Nice guns BTW

@spudnick160 take it slow and dont force stuff, paper is very flexible and can bend with you make the barrel making bumps in between the rolls
look it up if not 24 hours is usually a good drying time

@applefan236 make sure you dont put the glue near the pencil maybe half a cm away should do
when I make a cylinder I remove it right after I glue it but it sticks to the pencil and rips,
uh, you can't "make" an exacto blades.
