The Indian government has agreed to work with the US FBI in a joint effort to rid many of these scam call centers. It seems to be working as well because the scam calls seem to be becoming less frequent. This is a very good thing because those criminal enterprises not only hurt elderly people all over the world, but they also hurt the economy in India.
Thank you for keeping your humor. In America we joke about everything, especially ourselves. There is plenty to make fun of in the USA and nothing is off limits to us. It is nice to hear when people take it as a joke and do not think it comes from a place of hate. US citizens are quite fond of India and often romanticize your country. 🇮🇳❤🇺🇸
@@beanscollections2020 Actually, I am an American citizen from birth… Born and raised in So Cal… One of my sons-in-law is from Allahabad. He is the father of two beautiful children… His daughter is from his first marriage… Even though we are not biologically/blood related…she has been a part of my life since she was 2 years-old. She is my first grandchild! My daughter and her husband, met in their final year of graduate school… They have been married for over 20 years… They have an amazing son… All the people in my family have either green or blue eyes… My half Indian grandson, has brown eyes…which is a first in our family… I am truly blessed! 🙏🏻❤️
We have child labor in the US as well, maybe not as extreme but child labor laws are barley over a century old. In fact, child labor protections actually got rolled back in the US so 14 - 15 year olds are able to work easier without permits.
@@baddbabylon As true as that is, most of those are immigrants from asia or south america. Thats a big reason why illegal immigration is bad. The govt doesnt know they exist so they just get exploited for labor like slaves since a lot of the times they dont even speak the language and are told they would get in trouble if they go to authorities. Its pretty terrible. Its one of the few remaining forms of slavery that occurs in america.
i was a truck driver, one time i took oranges from florida to california, then went 2 miles down the road picked up oranges to take them back to florida, so don't feel bad india, we love you guys!!!
The scam call center thing is a real issue, however, it's a deeper issue than what South Park is actually addressing in that episode. In that one, they don't even touch on that one. They just make fun of the stereotype of customer service jobs being outsourced exclusively to India. That episode is actually about the ridiculousness of virtual reality at this juncture. The "Steve" character is created purely for comedy purposes, not to say anything about India specifically at all. Except perhaps just to poke fun at the whole customer service paradigm in general.
As an American, we get scammed by people from everywhere, including here 😂. We have child labor here too. As in all things, only the ignorant believe stereotypes 👌🏽. You guys are super funny, really enjoy your channels.

I, and my relatives from Allahabad, love all the Indian jokes we hear and see!!
Thank you!! 🇺🇸❤️🇮🇳

100% and that's not to account for "under the table" jobs or "family businesses"

too funny, watching you dance to the music, and the smile on your face. Love from Kentucky
This show has ripped us all up lol its all for laughs 😂
South Park creators are equal opportunity insultants. Love them. They have no shortage of digs on Americans
Indian stereotype for me is Indians seem to always be either doctors or they run a gas station or a Subway restaurant. No in between.
Love the South Park videos.
You guys are the perfect reminder that we’re all the same - good, bad, other. Love from New Hampshire, USA 😊

All stereotypes are actually true because it's the majority
