I pray almost 4 Years now everyday at 3 am. My prayers are always answer . Somethimes the same day of after 1or 2 days . This is powerful in Jesus name Amen!!!!!!!

Thank you for your Ministry Pastor Finley. Last night we lost my Grandfather. Around 9:10pm in the VA hospital due to COVID. But your last sermon about Safety brought him to tears in the story. Many of us prayed for life when he was on the ventelator.. But we had much prayer and peace without understanding. Again thank you Mark for your Service as well. I'm a literature evanglist also and was able to deliver my last letter to him sharing colorful three practical promises. Blessings!

Dear Pastor Finley, you were here just when I needed your message so much. Three months of intense pain has left me very vulnerable to tears, and I have literally cried out to God for a measure of healing and relief, with seemingly no answer. You give us reasons why that ring true. Then, I look out the window and see the beauty of His sky, the trees, the flowers; I see the dear old cat on my lap, so comforting and present; I have food and beautiful fruit, and these wonderful Adventist sermons and Bible lessons; a friend that stops by and prays for me! What indeed are these trials compared with the joy of anticipating the soon coming of our Savior, when every tear shall be wiped away from our eyes? No more suffering. Dear people live in hope. God is our refuge and help. He is our Hope🌈.Thank you Pastor Mark.

It may seem strange to some people but I was young way back in the days. So I prayed to God and I asked Him to please be with me for my driving test. so I may receive my drivers license. Unfortunately my teacher never taught me to put the vehicle in reverse as I claim to Jesus and behold I felt Jesus hands over my own helping me park. To this day I haven't forgotten and I still Thank Him because I passed. There was another time a neighbor friend of mine was going to the pool, I asked how deep is the water and she replied not deep. So again I prayed to God because I didn't want to back down. As my body was going down the water slide, I hit my head on a pole. I saw myself go into the water, I was breathing air in the water and the lifeguard was searching for me. When she reached me a bubble popped all over my body and my entire body got wet. I was saved by God once more. Never doubt that God is real and He listens.

Many people find it comforting to believe that someone else is looking out for them, watching over them, and guiding them gently through the path of life. Indeed, life would be so much simpler if someone else were responsible for our destiny, for countering evil with good, ensuring that caring people enjoy a comfortable afterlife. Many well-intentioned but misguided people will tell you prayer is the answer to the problems of the world. They'd have you believe that if only you pray often enough and hard enough, you can realize your most precious goals.
Unfortunately, this is not reality. The untold suffering throughout the world should be evidence enough that no benevolent creator is watching over us, helping justice and fairness to triumph. People start wars, people abuse children and animals, and there's no deity to prevent that. You are responsible for your own happiness, and you alone are responsible for your own successes and failures. Be an honest person for its own value - not from fear of spending eternity in hell. Success in life requires hard work and logical thinking, and these are the values you must strive for. E.W.
I pray and work really hard for my goals and 99% of all never works out, no matter how hard I pray and work for it. Needless to say I’m exhausted from 20+ years of working so hard toward my goals which remain out it reach. So no, hard work towards a goal also doesn’t work and unanswered prayers just make me feel even more worthless on a spiritual level. What’s a person to do? Give up and become a bum?
My prayer is that the SDA stop abortion in their hospitals. SDA'S believe in and practice abortion . The SDA hospital in Loma Linda CA perform abortions for any reason. What about the commandment thou shall not murder? In Jeremiah, God said I knew you when I formed you in the womb . God created those babies and SDA doctors and nurses kill them for money . SDA is the only religious group that does this. Very strange coming from a people that claim to obey the 10 commandments ! !

Sometimes I wonder why when we pray and have faith that we will live or someone will live, but they still die. I guess it's like you said, our salvation is what is most important. And I remember praying that God's will be done, and not mine. I believe in prayer though. I've had many prayers answered.
The question you have asked is a very good one. Often we pray for things that we think are good but God in his all-wise plan knows what is best for us and He will do that for us when we seek His will.
They kingdom come, they will be done. 🙏

Another great sermon. I wanted to ask, Pastor, When should one conclude that his/her prayer is not going to be answered.
I used to pray for things and God didn't honour my prayers, today I look back and thank him for not answering those prayers, why? Because I know better. He opened my eyes and allowed me to see how things could have turned out had he honoured those prayers. Today, I believe that not honouring my prayers is still an answer and I take it with gladness because I know for sure He loves me and want the best for me more than I want for myself. It doesn't always look that way, but it is if we would see the future.

When we are in the will of God our prayers are according to his will and not our own when we do not know how to pray and we are sorrowful it is just our tears that are the loudest prayers that our father here if you want to teach my people something teach them unselfish prayers and how to pray unselfishly and in doing so to love one another as Christ has loved them let's not forget the man that Jesus wanted to talk to that was just hungry and was a leopard and the Junior apostles said to him why would you talk to him he is a leopard and her sweet Jesus said before he knew his heart he was just hungry take some of the love of my Jesus and the love of our Lord that's the surpasses all understanding

There is no mystery in unanswered prayers. God only answers the prayers that according to His will.
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. (1 John 5:14 NIV)
While it may not be a mystery for you, it is a mystery for many. And we know that they will find this helpful.

· Not abiding in Jesus (John 15:7).
· Unbelief (Matthew 17:20-21).
· Failure to fast (Matthew 17:21).
· Husband not honoring his wife (1 Peter 3:7).
· Not asking (James 4:2).
· Selfish praying (James 4:3).
· Disobedience (1 John 3:22).
· Not praying in God’s will (1 John 5:14-15).
· Unconfessed sin (James 5:16).
· Cold, passionless prayer (James 5:16-18; 2 Kings 20:5).
· Prayerlessness or a lack of persistence in prayer (Luke 18:1-7; Psalm 55:17).
· Sin against others (Matthew 5:23-24).
· Lack of unity (Matthew 18:19).
· Not praying in the name of Jesus (John 14:13-14).
· Pride (James 4:6, 1 Peter 5:5, Proverbs 3:34).
· Lying and deceitfulness (Psalm 17:1).
· Lack of Bible reading and Bible teaching (Proverbs 28:9).
· Trusting in the length or the form of prayer (Matthew 6:7).

What about John 14:14?
Hi Rian, you must read vs. 13 and vs. 14. This is what it says, "13. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it." John 14:13,14.
The condition still applies. If we ask anything in in christ's name, the Father will do. But asking something in christ's name doesn't mean that we just end our prayer in Jesus' name. It means much more than that:
“Whatsoever ye shall ask in My name,” said Jesus, “that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in My name, I will do it.”
“In My name,” Christ bade His disciples pray. In Christ’s name His followers are to stand before God. Through the value of the sacrifice made for them, they are of value in the Lord’s sight. Because of the imputed righteousness of Christ they are accounted precious. For Christ’s sake the Lord pardons those that fear Him. He does not see in them the vileness of the sinner. He recognizes in them the likeness of His Son, in whom they believe.
p 668 The Lord is disappointed when His people place a low estimate upon themselves. He desires His chosen heritage to value themselves according to the price He has placed upon them. God wanted them, else He would not have sent His Son on such an expensive errand to redeem them. He has a use for them, and He is well pleased when they make the very highest demands upon Him, that they may glorify His name. They may expect large things if they have faith in His promises.
But to pray in Christ’s name means much. It means that we are to accept His character, manifest His spirit, and work His works. The Saviour’s promise is given on condition. “If ye love Me,” He says, “keep My commandments.” He saves men, not in sin, but from sin; and those who love Him will show their love by obedience.

Pastor Finley, you conveniently ignore two of the biggest SDA beliefs and preaching. Address these two or the Bible said those who preach a different Gospel, let him be God cursed. And no one in your staff team seems to care to address this for me.
1. How come SDA do not believe hell is real place?
2. And where is it that said in the Bible that Jesus is Michael the Archangel? Half of his teachings are about eternal damnation.
