Excellent! I've just started my own journey on YT and I'm no spring chicken. You put it well when you said it's your way of preserving who you are. I have been making stuff my whole life and make such pretty things, my family encouraged me to start sharing them. My husband still drag races his 68 Camaro on the weekends and also shares his builds and race results on Instagram. He's even gotten cheap or free parts from other guys who network that way. I'm a home body as I've aged and I enjoy the company of other channel hosts. It's like hanging out with a friend and I don't have to get dressed....and I have all my stuff! LOL In fact, I am listening to this while cutting out tiny pictures for some magnets I'm making. I love miniatures and one of the channels I enjoy listening to when crafting mentioned that she's gets lots of comments about her speed and personality. She's quiet and reserved, makes mistakes and giggles along with them. She's young but she said that the majority of her viewers are older and suggested that because she is the way she is, she attracts that 'slower' style people. I would totally agree. It's one of the reasons I like her. The world is full of crazy, my creative space is one of the few places I can really relax. Thanks for sharing your story and your craft. I have subscribed. I've enjoyed finding gems like your channel as I have been building up "my subscriptions" list. 💕✂
Your comment is sooooo true, the world is full of crazy! I just like the slower channels where people aren't always pushing you to do stuff, it just lets us know there are other souls who like a quiet life, I also follow the "unexpected Gypsy" Wendy is so sweet and a great artist and she struggles a bit and is just, well, human! I will go over to your channel and follow you, I'm so happy you're here!🤗
I just found you today and have only just finished watching this and my eyes are glassy with emotion in the best of ways! This is something I have been 'toying' with a while now for multiple reasons and on the eve of turning 60, I'm thinking perhaps the timing is right at last?! Appreciate the openness and encouragement...you have a new friend and subscriber in Deep South, USA! I am going to go binge on some more of your content till I have to be responsible!!😂🥰

Funny to see this video as I've just made myself a cup of tea, and it happened that I turned 50 recently.... I totally agree with you about not caring what others tihink, it hinders us in our creativity, and in our capacity to think outside the box. By the way, I thought of you those few days as I was in vacation near the sea, while I was barefoot in the sand and the (cold) sea, I thought of your video about the grounding.... I'm so happy to have found your channel! You bring so much calm, meaning, warmth.... Love and Hugs
Hi Isabelle, thank you so much for your lovely comment. I am so glad that my videos make you happy and I bet you slept like a baby after being at the seaside, the sea air plus earthing yourself will have done you the world of good! It sounds like a lovely holiday, take care :-)
