This is something I’ve always wanted to do a VERY long time ago, but was too intimidated to do it at the time. You might have noticed the music cuts at certain points, that is because I had to shorten it since it was made from the extended version of the song, but the Bad Apple shadow art video itself is much shorter. Anyways this was such a fun project to work on, I hope y’all enjoy it.

You know splatoons designs are good when you can recognize exactly who everyone is just by their silhouette
i think that’s an important part of character design like. in general
That’s the #1 rule of character design. It’s not just splatoon

This is so well made! All of the changes with the visuals redone with Splatoon things like the squeegees, tacticooler, and stuff is amazing detail. I also love that you did it with your characters _and_ the idols and stuff! 💖
While i absolutely love this and can see the attention and originality it took to make this i cant but think that the lyrics should have been more like the original Bad Apple instead of imitating Calamari Inkantation. This is still some incredible job.
I actually was just going to use the original Bad Apple song but since it's copyrighted, that wasn't really an option. But I do agree with you about the imitating lyrics point.

i have been waiting for a splatoon bad apple animation to come out ever since i discovered touhou a few months ago, now that it's here i took a few hours to make ai covers for each of the characters that come on the screen when they come on, and it took so long im proud of myself

Oh my gosh the music is epic- great job on this, the animation is amazing! It’s very satisfying to watch the smooth flow of movements, and I love the characters how you included your characters as well as the ones from the story mode and the city (I love that you included the zapfish) , very fun to watch :)
Edit: forgot to include how much I loved the ending where it showed all of the characters before zooming into your oc, and I also loved seeing the transition between every character

YOU'RE BACK!! And wow this was cool, I have no idea what Bad Apple is but this was still really cool to watch. And it's crazy how many characters I was able to tell apart, obviously the idols and all were pretty easy but I was able to recognize all the generic "playable" mascot Inklings too, despite them all using the same normal playermodels.
