Morning Eddy 👋, what a backdrop throughout your video, stunning! Top advice regarding getting out into the countryside for beneficial physical & mental health benefits. Love my padded Paramo gilet, only light shower resistance, but great for dry, cool days👍. Hope it was a coffee followed buy a hearty meal and a good pint! Really nice to see Helen join you on your Ullswater walk 👏🐕
Great video as always , looks stunning . When we go out and there's the possibility of bad weather I pack some large bin liners , don't laugh I'm not kidding . If the weather takes a turn , make some holes ( not too big ) in the bin liner for head and arms and put it on , they will keep a lot of rain / snow out . They don't have a fancy name but worked for us plenty of times 🙂
@@Eddy-Hope Just got to get my other hip sorted (NHS allowing) and I will be up and running again…….well not running as that’s not allowed but walking is 👍

@@Eddy-Hope thanks Eddy. Onto my 3rd pre-op, they keep taking the ward off orthopaedics because of lack of beds. Still have waited 3 years so what is another month 🥴
Great content as usual. I just did haystacks with the missus and it would make a great video. I went clockwise and I wish I'd known in advance because once you get up there and see the first tarn that's where Alfred Wainwrights ashes were spread. Amazing views and I filled my bottle of water up close to the top and it's the best water I've ever had in my life.
Love this walk, did it most recently in August ‘23 but I would recommend doing it the other way because the public bar at the howtown hotel is superb for a post walk pint in their beer garden… weather permitting
What a wonderful part of the world, like the Canadian rockies done in miniature, doing this hike in winter not my cup of tea, a nice summer day maybe, loved the party lights on the boat, wishful thinking?? The bairns seem to know where to go all the time, another gem Eddie, keep em coming.
Done this walk many times, like you say its not too difficult, we did Angle Tarn and Hartsopp from Patterdale 2 weeks ago, fabulous views . We were 2000 ft up and saw 20 deer and stags it was amazing.
The Lakes is just so beautiful and holds many memories of family trips, so thanks for the amazing footage and the history and facts.
🤛🏻
I did this walk with several work colleagues quite a while ago. My son was only 10 years old. We really enjoyed it. Thanks for jogging the memories.
Thanks for sharing Bob 👍🏻

Completely waterproof too but not breathable at all, other than from the holes.
I’ve tried ponchos but they’re not great in windy conditions
Great stuff, myself and my lady will definitely do this walk, when it’s a bit warmer
Yo Eddy....cool trek dude. Nice for you to take these nice pups out and bring along your gal!

Hi Eddy. Smashing little video. What "tracking/mobile" device was that you used on the walk please?
I think I used my Insta 360 One X2 Ian
