One of my favorite cups this year to the point I haven’t purchased subsequent cups from the shop that was serving it out of fear it wouldn’t replicate. Feeling I got was like a powdered fruit concentrate, which sounds not far off from your brief Lucky Charms/Fruit Loops experience (especially marshmallow note). Also was their note Pear, or just the shop I got served from?

I have that same issue personally with Flower Child in terms of consistency. They aren’t 1:18 but 17 I think with a Melodrip and drawn out pulses.

Pear was one of the notes on this coffee and it certainly made sense with it. Can see why you were a fan though, it was really nice at its best. Appreciate the feedback as always 🙂

My wife asked me to grab this but I forgot to and when I remembered it sold out. Sounds like you enjoyed it, I’m sure I would have!

Good to know. Still have a few cups left so it might be worth revisiting

the h&s recipe requires high extraction tricks and should end up at a similar TDS and intensity as your standard approach when you do that
but I also tend to prefer shorter ratio brewing in general

Someone explained that they have a video on it that we probably should have checked out before attempting their recipe with both coffees. The website/each coffee just gives that basic recipe, so it's probably on us for not digging more initially.
