- Imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. Together we can forge women's equality. Collectively we can all #BreakTheBias.

Thank you🙏 International Women's Day.
How can diversity and equality/equity co-exist? we should all be the same and diverse? and how is being more like a Man being more of a Woman? surely the differences are what you're supposed to be celebrating? surely the '1950's housewife' is a stereotype too? are you not discriminating against Women who make their own choices? if you want a gender free world then why have a Womans day? a great Woman once said “The smallest minority on earth is the individual” which is surely where you're headed ultimately

Wow Incredible. Thanks for sharing.
I love this poem by spoken poet Anisa Nandaula! I especially love this part: "An empowered girl is a hurricane that can paint the world in sunsets. Bias is a wall that tries to stop her, but her hurricane isn't done yet. An empowered girl can lead the world into change and she can guide us into a place that's new..."
Amazing message and delivery, Anisa
I really appreciate women's day. Their contribution to the society is unimaginable.
But take a moment to think about a day for men. Why are they not honored with a day just for themselves or perhaps not treated the same as women. Why is that only women get alimony even though many of them work?
When a man earns, he is expected to spend it on family whereas when women earn, most of them(not all) don't contribute to the family, instead they expect for the guy to do it.
Glorifying about daily struggles faced by women is absolutely welcomed, but why not take a moment to respect men.
Every word of you is so strong... I proudly say that I stand with the world to Break the Bias💪
I feel so strong of what she said. I would totally be her friend
Go make me a sandwich.

Equality? That would require men to not have 6 years shorter life expectancy, make up 94% of work place fatalities, 99.9% of deaths due to war, 75% of suicides, 76% homicides, 45% of DV victims, starting from but not exactly 26% victims of r ape and 43% of SA victims at the hands of a woman accompanied by no social aid or legal due process, 63% more prison time and 2-300% higher incarceration rate to begin with for the same crimes, 71% of homelessness and, 0-30% of illness funding tops, and so on.
And if men chose to communicate more the suicide rate would be lower, to start with. I say this as the mother of two sons who fear speaking openly because they will 'look bad' to other men. What is that about? Why don't men support other men the way that women support each other. Most men banter and put each other (and women down). Which would be fine if they could also express any emotion besides anger. Look at the Met Office What's App 'chat'. So many men think its ok to talk like that about women, rape threats, degrading 'banter'. Every statistic reminds us we live in a patriarchy; men created the society we live in, not women. Men judge other men and most vie for social status. There would be less war, less rape, less homocide, less child sex abuse if women had been let out of the domestic sphere earlier than the last 50 years.
@@andreaholland9470 "Why don't men support other men the way that women support each other." It's biology / nature, and social engineering. Few men support each other and I'm one of them. A more important question is, why don't women support men?
@@andreaholland9470 Why don't you, a woman, support my comment and instead attack me for it? That is the question. Also, DNA studies reveal twice more vvomen have reproduced throughout history, only 17% of human societies are labeled by scientists as strictly monogamous, and most species in nature are polygamous. Pair-bonding species where f and m are almost identical are more 'egalitarian' and appear rare in nature, while tournament mating species i.e. 94% of them are matriarchies, since most males do not have any authority over the opposite se x, they also die younger and see smaller reproductive success compared to females. Patriarchy theory comes from making the Apex Fallacy. You look at the best highest ranked men and wrongfully deduce that most men are doing better than most vvomen.
@@herekitty791 sounds like you haven't had much nurture or love and therefore assume no other heterosexual man is cared for (or listened to, or supported, or fed) by a woman. I'm sorry that's your experience, but girls learn early to 'be nice' or 'smile, sweetie' and when they don't so many men feel threatened, as if only men are allowed to be frustrated or angry about stuff. As for biology preventing men from supporting each other; evolution shows co-operative species and societies fare better than those who compete all the time. It just makes sense.

Does any man find what she is saying attractive? No real man would hit a woman however, if we are truly "equal" why do we even need to mention it?
Because people who wallow in self victimhood don’t want equality, they want to maintain their victim status while screeching about equality. Once you become equal, guess what? Then we can treat you just as we treat each other. Victims don’t want that.
I absolutely do. I have added her to my 'To Do' list.
When i think of empowered women i think of Ayn Rand, Margaret Thatcher, Elinor ostrom, i don't think i want to imagine them partaking in such nonsense.
I think of women like Leni Riefenstahl and Phyllis Schafly.
I love this video so much! My form tutor showed my class this in class and I'm so disappointed because I've just read a lot of the comments and many of them are negative and derogatory! Back off haters!! This message needs to be spread!
If two are equal then you shouldn’t need to say it so often.
