You create disk on vm before run installation from iso? If yes on macos first screen choose the fourth option for disks. In there on left choose the disk you create and the upper right erase the disk to APFS. Then close this window and begin installation

VMware workstation is passing the virtualization layer of the physical cpu to the vm. Although vmware unlocker is presenting Macos type vm on VMware the iso of the Ventura installation is based on different kernel type cpu such as Intel. I assume you cannot install it as virtual machine on AMD host. I had successfully installed previous versions this way on intel machine but when i tried to power up these vms on AMD hosts based i had the same problems 😕
I have an Asus TUF gaming laptop, RTX 3070, 32 GB RAM, intel core i7 12650H, but still experience extremely poor performance on the VM, what could be the reasons? My first thought was VMWare wasn't using DGPU but the intel HD graphics instead, however I set it to use DGPU on Windows 11 and nothing changed.

@@a.l.i.c.e6227 thank for the comment, I had gotten that error to go away and got passed it but then had an issue when I would launch the Mac VM... it would just get stuck searching for a keyboard and mouse but no matter what kind of mouse or keyboard I would connect and "assign" to the VM, it wouldn't detect it. Not sure if anyone else also had this issue that knows a fix. I'm using a AMD Ryzen 9 7900X as a CPU

The "VMWare Tools" link does not work, because the g-drive has some limited acces
Maybe run it as admin I think that is what you need I need for specifications tho
install it from the menu by clicking vm while it is running and clicking install vmware tools there

You probably have one, but working with VMs in my experience is that one of the biggest contributing factors to speed is a fast SSD. Preferably 980+
