Great history and story as always! You are not crazy trying to save those legs from disintegrating in the desert. Would love to see them get restored. Some of us are looking for legs :)
Thats so sad. Glad you were able to save something from it in remembrance. Getting the legs would be an awesome addition to the museum just as they are.
I met a traveller from an antique land, Who said-“Two vast and trunkless legs of stone Stand in the desert. . . . Near them, on the sand, Half sunk a shattered visage lies...
I thought there was an Indian one in Bakersfield. At least there used to be a few years ago, and it was laying behind a school. And then they put it back up somewhere nearby. But that was quite a few years ago that I kept track of it. I used to have a friend that lived in Bakersfield and I told him about it and he went and found it. But he passed away 10 years ago.
So in my small town Cloquet minnesota We have a Voyager Giant, his base looks a lot like that one It's got me wondering if they were made by the same company I don't currently have any photos but I will add them just as soon as I go get some Down the road.We also have a giant buffalo
You ought to grab the legs maybe you can restore them also. You can check with the county deeds recorder to find out who owns the property. I wonder if the company that made them still have the molds, I bet there in some garage or barn somewhere.
You did not say which state Livingston is in. Might want to include when you edit. Your audience is a detail oriented group. We want the accurate facts 😊
Love your historical videos but I do have a question. Why do you call all the big guys “muffler man ?” Because it’s clear that one is an Indian and not a muffler man or sea skipper.
Happy to see that you saved the tomahawk in addition to getting the fiber glass out of the environment
Awesome! Glad you got the Tomahawk... looking forward to seeing the museum hopefully soon!

Used to go to enchanted forest in chesterton indiana as a child and remember the Indian in front. It's now restored and in toto indiana.

Did you ever see the one in Greensburg PA that was headless for awhile? He was painted as a steeler for awhile.

“My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings;
Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!”
I ONLY CAME HERE TO FIND WHAT IS THE MOST OBVIOUS COMMENT TO MAKE.
THANK YOU.

It's sad when history is destroyed.
I’m surprised you don’t have a video of Last Chance Joe from the Sparks Nugget casino. 🤔

There's a muffler man in Great Falls Montana, unfortunately he's outside of a casino..

Sorry about that. It's Livingston, IL.

NOT ruffles. A sturdy version of FRINGE. Maybe use the term “Fringe” vs “Ruffles”, to avoid offending.
Will say it correctly if needed in future videos, thanks.
@ Thank you for listening to your fans, all the hard work you do to create these 👍🏼🩷
You keep calling it a pole. Its not a pole. It's the namesake of the business. It's a post. It's literally the "trading post"
