  • Looking for a way to grow and enjoy more than one variety of mango in a small space? Try a multi-graft mango tree! Chris shows a 'Farichild' mango tree that also has 'ST Maui' and 'Sia Tong' grafted on. After only a few years, all three varieties are fruiting!

Hey Chris! I’m in Zone8b and want to grow a mango in a pot that I bring inside in winter. I know, it’s super risky, but I want to try! What are a few varieties you’d recommend that can handle colder temps and do well in pots?

Pickering is a popular variety for that situation

@@TrulyTropical If you graft other varieties on to Pickering will they become more cold hardy as well? Or will they remain susceptible to cold?

Hey Chris! I can't decide if I want the Carrie, Nam Doc Mai or the Beverly. My idea is to have mangoes all year round. Can I graft all 3 on one tree?

@@TrulyTropical sweet! Next question. How far apart do I grow my mango trees? I got like 5 different mango trees. (Carrie, Gary, Coconut Cream, Beverly, Mahachanok and Sai Tong.)
