As someone who has been advocating for new guns for years, I know off the top of my head that the last guns were the orange aks in summer 2019. Aside from event guns and specials, at least. And I guess specials could be considered new but it's still kinda the same gun to me, just a slight upgrade with each one.
The special weapons were added because people at the time wanted new weapons badly and the team came up with the idea to make different variants of the same gun. I dont include any of these weapons “new” unlike the tankgewher which was an actual NEW weapon.
Ac-556 was released only about a year ago and it is the only "brand new" gun I would say in the special guns update, everyone seems to be saying the 74 series was the newest addition for some reason tho

These new weapons are actually not variants, not limited, and will stay in the game forever.
4:29 its the new melee, it was confirmed in the description of the halloween yt video and its in the melee slot. Its probably a chainsaw which would be sick.
