I hate how in order to be able to avoid the fuck you cross combo, you need to intentionally ignore some openings because attacking will risk you getting frame trapped.
thank you fromsoft, such a well designed move.
I honestly think if they just make that attack slightly slower this boss will rank up my list rapidly, but as it stands it's very boring, just hug his leg and dodge in the same direction against every single move, this boss heavily punishes creativity, opposite to malenia, maliketh, godfrey, mohg, rellana, messmer, dancing lion...etc.

How can you avoid the x attack so consistently? The only way I can do it is either by deflecting, backstepping , or using blind stop.

I haven't tried it yet but seems like you have to move to the left, do a little delay to your roll, trying to land outside the swing area of his right sword, but im not sure

be hugging his right leg by the scabbard before he can attack and dodge it to the left

You have to space yourself to his right leg. When the attack starts dodge to your left. But I Don’t think it’s 100% consistent due to hitboxes

its pretty much a dodge left simulator, see every time i avoid it im strafing left and then also rolling straight left. i think @sobo089 has some pretty clear examples on it if u want more
