Can I make a sugestion? how hard is it to program the backmarkers being on the correct place on the line? like, at lap 52/53 when the VSC was activated, both TSU and ALB would be between RUS and SAI, but at their current "lap time". With the controversy on Yuki this weekend with the lapped cars on Safety Car, maybe it would be easier to spot the lapped cars.
I can think of a way to do it, basically make it a split screen at the boundary of the lapped cars and keep the lap boundaries synchronized. To do this you'd need the lapped cars to exit on the left side of the screen over the boundary an reenter on the right side of the screen under the boundary. This way you can see the relative positions of the cars to each other. The problem is you can't see the distance between the cars around the boundary and it would be very messy when rapid changes are happening, e.g. pit stops. For example: | Lap 59 | [88) RUS | [88) HAM | [88) PER | [88) SAI | [88) BOT | [88) LEC | [88) VET | [88) OCO | [88) ALO | [88) VER | [88) ZHO | [88) MSC | [88) STR | [88) GAS [88) ALB | [88) LAT | ----------------------------------------------------------- 1 lap down | Lap 58 | [88) TSU
Wow even de clockwise and counter clockwise rotations of Magnussen and Ricciardo are spot on!
Excellent.
отличная графика!

I don't think it's possible in a 1-dimensional view like this
