Excellent analysis, you two! You owe it to yourselves to watch the music video for this song. Papa II face paint and regalia, druid-inspired robes on the ghouls, and a 1970's daytime talkshow aesthetic. This video is pure genius!

Ahhhh one of my favorites. 🤘🏼
Ironically Tobias has said that he didn't intend for this to sound like a circus but the majority of fans always hear it. 😂

Musically I'm ignorant, but this song feels like a evil waltz. The videoclip is so sixties/seventies haha
Tobias has an amazing voice, it's impressive how good he sounds. Great video as always!

Ahh yes, the song from infestissumam that I always listened to together with year zero, before I finally listened to the whole album. It just has a really cool spooky vibe. Also, I'd love you to check out tobias' older death metal band "repugnant" and the song "another vision". For something different from our beloved papa ;)

Love all your Ghost reaction videos! I was wondering if you can check out Subvision and/or Repugnant (two of Tobias' bands before Ghost). My favorites from Subvision are Psycamore and Killing Floor, and my favorite from Repugnant is Draped in Cerecloth. Thanks!

The tempo of Slavebranded reminds me of Children of Bodom the Follow the Reaper album. The guitar detours remind me of Haken. The vocals sound like a mix of Evenesence and Anneke van Giersbergen. The energy level is like modern Judas Priest, but the feel of the song is more mathematical. The intensity feels very vocal driven, and the transitions are so well made. Tension, relaxation, tension, and so on. The mysticism isn't very dark, but not very positive either. Some sort of broken melancholy, which is cool. Nice work! Eager to listen to more.

Very entertaining reaction and a great song, too. But is it possible that you haven't done a reaction to Nightwish: Ghost Love Score (live from Wacken 2013)?! Hopefully you will do it soon...

Do you mean the short song clip in the beginning? It’s called Shrine of Resurrection, The fourth track on our new album. It is an homage to Zelda, Breath of the Wild!

I'm probably the odd one out, because this is one of my least favorite ghost songs. It's like I'm on an evil carousel in a carnival. I prefer a reaction to" the depth of Satan's eyes" (from the same album)
