well, you can ask gpt to spell check: "please spell check the following text: "(your text)". you can ask it to "rewrite the following text for a 10th grader". you can ask it to "use the following text (reference text) to rewrite (my text). you can ask it "is this proper english? (your text). and a few other things. the main disadvantage is that gpt has a memory of 4096 tokens, so at a certain point it's like a smart assistant with a short memory who forgets where you started.
I copied a page from Dostoyevsky's Idiot into this app, and it suggested it's terrible ... So, all these apps will just kill the creativity in writers. Sadly, AI will become a norm for how good something is ...
