    These classic (older) four-cylinder Honda Accord's are currently realistic, as well as driving and performing a lot better than most modern (newer) models. They are very reliable, fuel-efficient and they are excellent point A to point B vehicles. Thank you very much and have a great weekend.

      Totally agree. I wish it was easy to find an older accord of this era that isn't beat up or modded out.

    I own this exact car, but in red. Coming up on 3 years, bought it from a friend who's uncle drove it in a southern state and babied it. 93K miles, paid $4500.
    I replaced all the speakers, and the stereo. I love it!

    I had the same model. I literally beat it to death and this Accord begged for more

    The 6th generation Accord has my favorite gauge cluster of any mainstream vehicle out there. It is clean, simple, easy to read, and just a beautiful work of art and functionality. This would work great even in a modern vehicle today.

    My 2002 accord never died but i eventually had to dump it because i got tired of driving the same car for 15 years.

    I had a 1997 Accord EX-L 2.2 VTEC with a 5 speed manual. It just had a lot more than this 2002. Granted, I did trade it in on a 2006 Accord, so it was still young at the time.

    The next generation Accords (both I4 and V6) were so much quicker. This is subjective but I think they looked better to and had way nicer interiors. Not to mention all the added safety features like side curtain airbags and seat airbags

    • @DMCarReviews
      @DMCarReviews  7 месяцев назад

      As far as much quicker, I'd have to check that :))

    This 6th gen vs the 7th gen. Which one is more reliable and also which one has better gas mileage?

    • @DMCarReviews
      @DMCarReviews  6 месяцев назад

      Both are reliable, but I think the 7th gen has better fuel economy due to better gearing.

    • @Blank00
      @Blank00 6 месяцев назад

      7th gen, especially from 2005-2007. Those don’t have the transmission problems that the 6th gen was infamous for

    • @joshverdoorn7375
      @joshverdoorn7375 6 месяцев назад

      mostly the v6 ones from both 6 and 7th gen accords had transmission problems other then that they are pretty reliable

    I own a 02 accord EX with 190k miles I put 1k on it since I had it and the suspension is softer... not sure if that is good but I tend to drive it hard around corners. my 0-60 seems faster I also spin the tires.
