- 3 easy Tofu recipes to help cool down the summer heat!
Avocado Ponzu Hiyayakko
½ Avocado, thinly sliced
1 block solft silken tofu
1 Tbs ponzu sauce
1 Tbs tobiko (sub with masago or ikura)
1 shiso leaf, julienned
Soy Cured Eggs Hiyayakko
Curing mixture:
¼ cup (150ml) mirin
¼ cup (150 mil) soy sauce
1 tsp grated ginger
1 clove garlic, grated
pinch togarashi
1-2 egg yolks
1 block
Small bunch raddish sprouts
1 Tbs chopped chives
pinch of yuzu kosho (optional)
Soy Ginger Katsuobushi Hiyayakko
1 Tbs soy sauce
1 tsp white sugar
½ tsp dashi granules
½ tsp water
1 tsp grated fresh ginger root
1 (12 ounce) package silken tofu
¼ teaspoon thinly sliced green onion
1 pinch bonito shavings (dry fish flakes)
-1 pinch toasted sesame seeds Хобби

I haven’t had tofu from a tetrapak… how would you compare it to refrigerated tofu?
I refrigerate it! Its very silky :)
