- It's time I brought up the Kalita Wave. I've been using it for about 6 months now; it's proven its worth and deserves a highlight video from me. Let me tell you about this fantastically tiny coffee maker.

I do have the copper version of the 185 and it is simply beautiful. Thanks for the video. I agree too. I reach for Kalita a lot.
Great brewer. I used mine 6 hours ago. 😊😊
Great video. Thank you.😊😊
Wow that recipe hit the spot
Very informative video! Thank you for sharing! I purchased the Kalita Wave 155 in sandstone just a few days ago, and I've been experimenting with the grind settings on my hand grinder. It's a very nice dripper and makes a wonderful cup of coffee. Regards from across the Pond!
Glad you're taking a liking to it. Thanks for watching!
Your thumbnails are always awesome
Ha, thanks. Sometimes I forget to photograph a thumbnail, so I'm glad I tend to be thoughtful in my brew montages so I can take screen grabs for thumbnails 😅
I’ve also started enjoying a flat bottom brewer recently. I have been using the F70 and have had noticed great consistency. I also have often made great 9g brews with it. I am thinking I’ll try out the Kalita soon.. thanks for your content!
F70 is new to me. I'll have to check that out. Is that similar to a Clever or Hario Switch system?
yeah me too. im liking the kalita brew over V60
So you would recommend that one not brew a single cup in the larger Kalita? I ask because their website states the larger one is for 2-4 cups, but it seems slightly wasteful to buy both sizes - one for when I want just one cup and one for multiple people.
It really depends on the volume needed to satisfy for two in your household. I think for 90% of people, the smaller one is too small for two people. The top line is 300ml which is only about one 12oz cup. If you can each be happy with roughly 6 ounces then it may be fine but if you’re unsure I’d move up to a larger.
I use this one for brews just for me. I didn’t necessarily want multiple kalitas so I have a larger chemex for 40 gram brews to make about 600ml for when I’m making for two.
