I just saw the Starsky & Hutch epidode a few days ago where Dave loses his girlfriend in the hospital. 2 weeks later both Dave and Ken(David Soul) open up presents left to them from the gal who passed. Such great acting...by Paul Michael and David...you don't see that kind of really good acting today. Im a guy...and I must admit that episode almost drove me to tears! Thank you Paul Michael(and David Soul) for your fine acting...i grew up watching you both...and am so thankful that tv brought you both together in my lifetime! I can see now that Paul Michael's character in Starsky was not far off from being the truth of how he really is as a person....a great person...compassionate and caring, and a real stand up man. Thank you Paul Michael!
Episode was 'starskys lady'......agree that was an exceptional episode and 'gillian' where Hutch's partner died ... watching all the reruns again.... They were Platinum !!!! There'll NEVER be anything close to the brilliance of this series!!!
I remember that episode from when it first aired! I was 10 years old and balled my eyes out. The fact that the girl left her teddy bear for Hutch to “take care of” both him and Starsky was amazing.
You are completely right. Only people that has suffered from a terrible circumstances in their lives, can realize how the necessary empathy is. Now, due to this horrible virus there are lots of people in need and can help them is our responsability and furthermore our own pride. Thank you so much for your generosity. And on the other hand for being our dear Starsky. He was in my teens my idol and in my fifties you carry on being my best ftiend throgh the screen. I will never forget.
