Aww, thanks Diane. There really are some BEAUTIFUL versions out there on Instagram. Check the hashtag #wildergown you'll probably get even more inspiration.
I actually just wore one of my Wilder gowns today! I love this dress and yours is so beautiful! I like the shorter version you did and you styled it perfectly 😊 Yes, my first version, I didn't adjust and the bodice was definitely too short for my "girls". On my second one, I lengthened it and it's perfect. I don't have the energy to change my serger thread for every garment - you impress me that you change yours to match!!
Hahahah Michelle, there are some days I don't change the serger thread, but 95% of the time I do. I definitely have to make me a Wilder Gown Top, such an easy sew. Thanks for watching.
You’re so correct, this turned out super cute! 💜💜💜. I love, love, love the fabric he chose to make this dress! It just truly made this dress come to life in my opinion! Also your sleeves turned out beautifully with your change! I like the way they look on you…this was an overall success! 🤗🥰
Lovely dress, great colour on you. I’m just about to sew my first wildergown. I chose a navy blue and white linen with a palm tree pattern. I noticed it has plenty of ease so I went down a size too. 3” of ease on the bust is plenty for me. I have a long torso so lengthened the bodice by 5 inches. I also adjusted the tiers so the dress would hit mid calf on me, with the last tier not as deep as the first. Hope it works out. I’ve watched both you tube videos by the Friday pattern co sewing it up. They made a shorter top version with a peplum on bottom which may interest you. I intend to make a version like that one too, if the dress goes well.
Oh yes, I definitely want to make a top, probably next Spring. It's really such an easy dress to put together. Sounds like yours is coming along and hope it turns out just as lovely. Thanks so much for watching.
Oh my! So beautiful. :) Yes, purple is absolutely your color. You are so pretty in that dress. Love your glasses too, Nateida. Want to share where you purchased them? :) Pam
I made the wilder blouse and I gathered to where I liked it to tie or to leave open and then stitched it to hold at that point. It still looks really gathered which is what I liked but I will not need to tie it unless I want too. My fabric was really slinky so no gathers held unless I stitched it with the neckline gathers.
There's nothing like a swirly, flirty dress you make your own + feel. & look great in it
Absolutely Heather and it's so comfortable to wear!
This is the nicest version of the Wilder Gown that I've seen. Tempted to have a go now.

This wilder looks beautiful on you and I love how you styled it. I think a ruffle on the top would be super cute too!

🤗 Thanks so much Pam! Yes, I actually purchased my glasses at a local to me eye place. The brand is Tom Ford, I LOVE them.
