calli pulling out one of the secrets moves of a dad "motivation through a party"
And the best buddy secret move of "inspre through Gurren Lagann"
Thank you Gurren Lagann for giving our Priestess the motivation she needed.
I'm not surprised. The show legit helped me through clinical depression
gurren lagann inspires me to live
Believe in the Takos that believe in Ina
My favorite anime of all time helped my oshi, feels good man
Always watch the movies when I feel a little down and needed a little hope for humanity..
Man I love TTGL so much
kamINA: BELIEVE IN ME THAT BELIEVE IN YOU!!!
Present KamINA: Dont believe in the me that believes in the you, believe in the you that believes in YOURSELF!
Dad's group watch-along came at a right time. Glad to hear the Priestess is feeling better
>ballin
lol. Bawling. Irys was bawling.
She may be ballin, you don't know
Good to see Ina back, that whole issue with her visa must have been a huge headache but she pulled through
What exactly happened?
Ina's back
โโ@@kernelramdisk3348 she's having issues with her visa. She mentioned she'll do some streams while back in Canada for the next couple of weeks and it should be sorted out either at the end of this year or the start of the next.
@@kernelramdisk3348 Management somehow forgot to renew Ina visa, causing a visa issue and made her unable to work in Japan.
She's not exactly "back" in Japan. It'll take a few months for her to get her visa renewed. Because Reasons. In the meantime she's losing business time (because she's not just a streamer she's a "priestess") and previous studio recording time. This mess up is costing her financially since this doesn't just affect one part of her life.
I'm assuming she'll get to go back to Japan in January and be in and out of the studio to do solo recordings of her choreo for Holofes and some parts of whatever they call the EN Holofes.
Oh, and whatever recording she needs to do for any HoloMem that invited her into their live.
No way is she doing any song recordings, Voice Packs and sponsorship deals, tho. Those are on hold.
1:27 I didnโt know Irys had game like that damn
Balling her eyes out
Buzzer beater!
The best part about Bae not getting the meme was that she truly saw it as something inspirational and meaningful Ina told her.
Like 110% for real. Which is perfectly in line with the spirit of the quote.
Jesus Christ this phrase existed for centuries, used by everyone from buddhist monis to Rhonda Byorke.
JEEEEEESUS CHRIST, THANK GOD FOR GURREN LAGANN
We all need a "Calli's place" in our lives. Maybe not the home we grew up in, but it's the closest thing: a safe, familiar, welcoming refuge where we can anchor ourselves to weather the stormy days.
But whos there for Calli?

LET'S GO, INA
Man. after the Ame situation these clips really put me on edge. Great to hear the Watch Along with the other Mems went great, and renewed Ina's strength to carry on. I think I've see Gurren Lagann once, and really enjoyed it, though don't remember the ending being all that sad. Definitely due for a rewatch.
If I'm feeling really down I watch the final episode.
It is so hype I feel great. Even with how sad the actual ending is, it is ultimately about continuing to move forward.
0:04 rare swear moment from the calm squid girl
Bro I didn't even realize she's swearing there
I blame Calli! ๐ฎ
Bad influence, Dad!
She didn't curse. It was either "best I can say" or "that's all I can say" she just mumbled it.
โโ@@Rocket_Skates already tested it on multiple playback speeds & with earphones in, that's beeping sad is all I hear.
Either way, I wouldn't blame her for swearing, just to have all those plans thrown out the window because of the visa is frustrating.
@@I_love_bread_and_Hungry_Jacks its "best I can say". Ina doesn't speak that clearly in the best of times and she moved away from the mic and it was muffled but it was definitely "best I can say" or something close to that.
As someone inspired by Gurren Lagann, knowing that like always, Gurren Lagann continues to inspire, and even our priestess, makes me happy.
We Are Hopeful
People often get motivation from various places. If fiction is the source where you find your motivation, then thereโs no shame in that.
I remember being in a very similar position to her. I can count two times in my life when I was in my lowest points, and seeing an anime perked me up exponentially. The first time was me getting banned from a forum page that completely soured my mood, but I had plans to go see Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions. That movie raised my mood so much that I didn't even care about what had happened the earlier day by the time I was finished.
Then, later on, a more personal loss. My RUclips account was shut down, and I really thought about giving up entirely. Then I heard a lot of people talking about this anime called My Hero Academia, and my curiosity was piqued, so I set the show to record when it started airing on Toonami to see if it was gonna be any good.
Needless to say, yes. When All Might said, "Young man, you too can become a hero," it felt like he was talking to me directly. It was an immediate inspiration, and I knew the show was special.
After five years, I ended up getting my account back, and two years after that, My Hero officially ended. While I wasn't satisfied with one particular aspect of the ending (and no, it's not what you think it is), I still hold the series close in my heart, and am eternally grateful to Horikoshi for picking me up when I was at one of my lowest points. If anyone is feeling down, they need to know they can be heroes in their own right and to always go beyond, plus ultra.
Also, I think you mean to write "bawling" instead of "balling."
Well MHA ss 1 ep 2 help me alot too. It like someone said "you can do it!!" But no undertone in it.
@@0Eyenight0 All Might's words reached you, too? That's pretty awesome to hear!

I can only imagine how much of a headache renewing a Visa must be. And to think we almost lost Ina because of it so thank you, Calli, for doing what you did there.
Not only that renewing Visas in Japan.
Hell yeah! "Row Row Fight the Power!"
Ina went โbelieve in the you that believes in yourselfโ arc.

I'm glad she didn't give up โค I'm glad she's okay and thanks calli for arranging a watch-along party, helps ina alot
Calli: "Believe in me who believes in you, Ina."
Gurren Lagann is the anime that got me back to drawing again. It helped me, too.
As much as Calliโs watchalong help Ina, everyone who showed up made Calliโs night and gave her great memories with her friends!
Was IRyS bawling (as in crying) or BALLIN' as in she was dropping three-pointers and draining buckets?
Crying
I am a russian speaker and I will honestly say that a huge part of Guren Lagan's popularity here is the voice acting. This is a professional dubbing, with talented actors who gave it their all. It was not just a voice acting, they sounded so harmonious and beautiful that no one has been able to do better so far. If you can find a voice acting in russian with english subtitles in the depths of the Internet, I advise you to watch it.
Thank you Ina for blessing us
Gurren Lagann is the perfect anime to be motivated. Now I wanna her IRyS opinion on Gurren Lagann.
So this is spiral power huh? Not bad...

We know it's all good now but you have to wonder to what level she meant that. Pretty damn ominous. Whatever the case, I'm super glad she feels a little better now.
oh god we almost lost her
No we didn't... watch the stream
@@tea_otomoYep. With the actual context, itโs clear that โShould I give up?โ Isnโt โShould I give up on Hololiveโ, itโs โShould I give up on the projects I already have scheduled and paid for that are much more difficult now that I have visa problemsโ
We have zero proof she was ever considering quitting and quite a lot of proof to the contrary
Tbh, after Ame shows how successful she can be without being restricted under the company brand I hope other fellow HoloEN members condsider abandoning ship for better horizons. Most if not all of gen 1 and 2 would make significantly more going indie.
It sounds like the whole situation was happening. ๐ค

well this clip potrais it worse than it is
Was Cover responsible for handling her work visa?
TTGL's still the GOAT

to be honest i've never watch gurren lagann before is it good tho ?
im watching anime since 2007 haha but i love kill la kill
What happened? Never got to hear
I think she basically couldnโt do anything because her visa ran out
Someone at Cover messed up something related to her work Visa, so Ina had to stop all work which also means any more spent on stuff is just gone now. Ina is back in Canada and was debating on returning to Japan as she can't work if she does.
โ@@Earliersphere Nothing is wasted it just got postponed and she's gonna return to Japan soon with Mamanis
@@Earliersphere We don't really know if it's really cover or someone at immigration or even both tbf. Stuff hard nowadays
@@jake_watch8276 Some projects actually basically burned money I think even then. Just rrat though
give up what?
I'm watching this anime for the first time. But I didn't really feel the same when I saw what she said. The anime happens too fast to really feel it. Also I think it's partly because of the character designs.
Well its Gainax. They always make more of a genre deconstruction than the actual thing, sometimes to absurd level. Its quite refreshing actually, but not for face value of it. For example Evangelion was praised by many for so many reasons, but without context and deep thougth, it was just another quite boring mecha.
Are you watching the TV series or the movies?
Seriously, I think Simon or the Anti-Spiral could totally defeat (not kill, defeat) Goku or Saitama.
Well depends if batman has prep time.
Guys ... this is not about "giving up" giving up.... she has to deal with visa stuff and all this bureaucracy stuff, which means her projects this year could be in danger...
Sorry, but this smells like clickbait
As one that has watched OG Gurran Laggann I believe it is highly overrated. I had to force myself through the first 3 episodes, and the ending was stupid af.
Hololive trying to get rid of all 1st generation. And was just the first Domino

stop spreading misinformation. Get some help.
Stfu. Like they would even contemplate getting rid of their cash cows, not to mention all of their staff are actual fans of their talents. All of them were actually depressed when A-Chan left. You're not normally sad when your manager leaves unless they went above/beyond for you. Literally compare Holo to any other vtuber company. They're just built different. Stop trying to spread lies.
Stfu asshole, you're coping too much by sreading your ass
from my POV, ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐จ๐ฝ = abandoning communities
First off: The title is pretty clickbait, fk u.
Had a buddy's son off himself recently(he was only 18). Still a baby. So when Ina said "Should I just give up?" I was like "Where is this tako? I need to spend my life's savings to find her at all costs before it's too late". Glad she's not actually in a bad way, just random bs.
With some ppl who commit suic*de, you just NEVER see it coming. My bud's son was literally laughing and having a great time 4 hours before he off'd himself.
If you're in that mindset, remember that pain is temporary, death is forever. Life has it's ups and downs. If you're gone, you'll never experience any of them, ups or downs. Also think of any loved ones that will miss you. It'll literally wreck their lives too. Hopefully you realize how selfish that is. At least stick around for the good parts.
Imo anyone who's like this REALLY needs a life change. Like complete 180 and try new things. Cuz what they're in now is NOT working out for them. Most, if not all, have dark thoughts and want to give up. Just know you're not alone. Keep living to keep the dream alive.
The title is not clickbait. Giving up does not mean what you think. It just means to stop doing something before you finish it. If I give up while running a marathon, I certainly didn't Kurt Cobain myself mid-race. Sure, if you say 'Giving up life' it can mean that, but that's a bit more specific. The term itself isn't really related to that.
