I am interested to build an real-time application on top of ctrl-X. How exactly would real-time communication between my app and the EtherCAT master work?
This video does not breafly explain how to the data layer can organize the exchanging the data between two or more applications (shown here Motion and PLC, for example, or between the OPC UA and the PLC), how the "MOTION variable" could be read in the PLC or could be changed by PLC. I hope the next videos will open more the Data Layer strong and good meaning.
