techstep style not fav but in this mix i can stand moments. but I just keep lovin this picture and his Final Chapta(Chronic mix) and Coffee(Full of Flavor Mix) more and more. DJ Trace Journey into jungle had me bouncin off the walls of late also. I love that era of Lucky spin stuff. Folks and their music so perfectly and real. does that era have a name? a style? thoughts anyone.

Trace is somewhat underrated. His mixes are fantastic.. even newer ones...

Absolutely love this mix. Takes me back. Used to rock this while we were playing goldeneye on the N64, gd times. Tune selection is 👌👌 moreorless learnt how to spit to this mix. So happy I found it on RUclips as files locked away on an old pc

I owned this tape. Great track selection but the mixing was horrible. And anyone can say what they want but sorry... that's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.
To be fair the track selection was extremely hard to mix but I understand what you are hearing.

I was playing the rave circuit here in New England in the 90s and we could all mix.. You were seen as a joke if you couldnt..

Haha lm guess..use a bpm counter mix in the intro for 20 seconds then slam in the next tune and then dance around like a lame 😂😂 how bout cutslo into miss my face??? That's one of the dopest fucking mixes ever period point blank.. I'm proud to say I played that mix in so many of my sets and the dancers loved it..taking 2 tracks and making them into one amazing thing noone has heard that's actually better than either of the tracks in the mix???now that is what actually mixing is. Not just beat matching an intro for a few bars...anyone can do that.. trace is a fucking pioneer..an originator..and is badass enough to not worry about if every single mix is perfect down to every single beat like an automatic beat matcher he has swing and that just makes it that much more authentic I learned a lot watching him DJ and he's definitely an influence and one of the best to do it who knows maybe you caught him on a bad day everyone has them but in general I'd say you're 100% incorrect if you need to relisten to the mix of cut slow and miss my face.. Big Ups to The Godfather of the dark sound🏆🤴🏼
Apparently the mix I meant was 611 mix tape series...regardless tho theres plenty of good ones here..me and traces boy DJ ras used to see who could mix 2 tracks together the longest at full volume on each..usually 5 to 7 min.. not many djs doin that these days
Also the monitors broke at this event before I went on.
