Would be cool if Futaba opened up their telemetry protocol, so the Hobbywing data logging could plug right into the telemetry of the Futaba RX/TX, so one could have both live and post-run readouts on the transmitter. Examples: mAh usage, motor and ESC currents/temps, LiPo voltage monitoring/alarms, that sort of stuff. And then to really push it, modify ESC settings, right from the transmitter touch screen.
@@FarmerFpv Us RC heli guys already have full ESC integration, but most of us are using Mikado Vcontrol transmitters and VBar Neo/Evo FBL controllers/receivers. (So not Futaba.)
what does the upgraded softwere do to the speedo? i cant see any improvements on my xr10pro but rather hear that people got alot of problems from half functioning to bricked esc. and it seems like spencer is happy to make this content but not to engage with his subscribers not eaven HW on youtube could get an answer.
How do you get the OTA to show live data? As soon as the OTA is plugged in, the throttle is cut. We’ve tried un-installing the app and re-installing, we’ve tried going backwards in firmware updates and re-installing the newest version. Nothing makes the live data work.
Hey Hey finally get to put a face on Charlie and Matt. I watch the Charlie Show on YT and listen to RC Stuff on Spotify very frequently. Just wanted to say i love all that content its extremely helpful for a guy like me with no local legit tracks to ask anyone advice, just a bunch of old guys with diy tracks is who we are, so Thank You so much guys. Spencer that ball diff video you posted helped me build my first one and run it like a charm. Thank you for your videos as well. Peace everyone and careful on those Honda Groms or was that Mr.Chen i forgot but hope that person is doing well, stay safe and buy some dunlop TT's for that little bike 🏍
For info, the newest firmware 4.4.12 caused my g2 160a esc to have a mommentary pause in blinking in blinky mode. On test last sunday it developed sudden bursts of acceleration and deceleration on test. I suspected the firmware is alternate switching from blinky to boosted and cant make up its mind. Last night I reverted back to 4.4.09. in blinky mode. The lights are now blinking constantly no pause, a good sign. Personally, i'm on the verge now to switch to others as this one is my second 160a after the 1st one was bricked.
Not sure about the updates as i have heard some at the track having problem with some updates but lots and to much people talking about bricked and wonky esc after some of the latest updates. Need to ask what is hobbywing doing?
I just got there ota. Be warned the app is buggy AF. Lots of people have problems with the app which really sucks. With mine I have to immediately link to it when I power it on or it will not link. Took me about 45 minutes of screwing with it to figure out how to get it to link to my phone which is an android btw.
You should just switch to pro performance I mean Dakota has been whooping your butt for quite some time hobby wing is nice just not as smooth and precise sad that a small company in Pennsylvania outperforms the multi billion dollar company called wing pro performance Rc people
aint pro performance just another HW product orwhat factory that produce HW rebranded? looks almost the same as a HW ESC with some aestetic changes, program boxes is the same but the name.

That would be so sick! We need this!

Wow, thank you all so much for helping racers first hand. We need more of this in the hobby and look forward to seeing what's to come in 2024!
Thanks you so much! If it wasn’t for the people who helped me in RC, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Thanks for watching the channel
Awesome content guys!....great product!.....looking forward to the next one....all the best for 2024!!😊
Thank you so much!
This mod to the motors is all good if you are in the USA. Rest of the world just have to run what you sell.
Hopefully HW does change their customer service.
Been a fan of HobbyWing since the first EZrun, Motors and speedy have always been super reliable.
What’s that really tiny motor for on the desk

I need hobbywing telemetry support on my 7PXR, says unknown sensor.

Heard it only works with the dr10 and i think one of the 1/8th scale esc's

Want to help the average racer? Just make an in depth how to video on motor tuning ! Not all of us can make it to the big races.
Is stock 17.5?
