However once you have your account tests and maybe other features (not through the whole course yet) are behind a $97 paywall.

Just passed my part 107 with a 90% today! As an FYI, I watched this video, Tony & Chelsea Northrup's "FREE Drone Certification Study Guide: FAA Part 107 sUAS Test" and took a practice exam I found online. By far the easiest exam I've ever taken. Total studying including practice exam, watching the videos in 2 times speed ~ roughly 4 hrs the night before the exam. The only thing I would have done differently would be to look up recent changes with remote ID as that wasn't really covered in either 2 videos. Don't stress on this exam, like 75% of the questions were extremely straightforward. I spent a total of 35 minutes on the exam, trust your gut and watch how they give you the answer (it's often very easy to eliminate the wrong choice and there were times when just by the answer you already know the correct one). The sectional chart was probably the hardest part of the exam but luckily they do give you the book/legends so use that to your advantage and you can always come back to them if they're taking too much time :D. Best of luck everyone!

Just passed my part 107 today with an 87%, I used this video and the one by Tony Northrup, as well as various practice tests. These videos give you a great understanding of the basics, however you will probably still need to do some studying on your own when it comes to newer material like night operations, flying over people, and something that I saw today which was remote ID!! The video by Pilot Institute explaining remote ID is a great supplement. And finally the best practice test I can recommend is the one by King Schools, there's also the official faa practice test(which is slightly outdated), and the one mentioned in the study guide from tony's video. Good luck to those studying, and don't memorize the practice test questions because they were all re-worded for the test

Otherwise, it does beg the question, why is some of this information only relevant for commercial work when the difference between most recreational and commercial flights is that the commercial flight involves a payment?

@@altitudeuniversity Thank you, I appreciate it! I have heard some RUclipsrs say that they finished the test in less than half an hour with an 82% or similar, but when I was taking the exam I thought to myself "I just spent several weeks studying a TON and $160 to have this opportunity...I am gonna take my sweet time!" SUPER HELPFUL! I took the whole online course and passed - MY FIRST TRY - with 97% in March 2021! Thanks Altitude U! There's a fair amount of trick questions. Maybe an hour or two a day till your test. Weather, Sectional Charts, Crew resource management and Night time operations are the most important. I wasn't going to take the test but after seeing the videos and the material provided by Altitude University, I feeling more confident. They have a way of explaining the material that gives you a better understanding, making the material easier to remember.

83% on test and I never did find Part 2. I'm a Private Pilot who last flew over a decade ago, but that training definitely helped. This is a great video, Part 2 would make it awesome.

@@altitudeuniversity your video really helped me a lot. I had watched other videos and read through other material before finding your video. But I have to say that your video really brought everything together for me and made me feel so much more confident about the test. Again, thank you so much, without your video Im not sure that I would have passed with the score I passed with.

@@JeremyDean-qk8qd Congrats Bruh!! I'm 2/3 through the course anxious to schedule my part 107 test. I'm curious how long you studied? Also, did you use any practice test sites or anything or just mainly videos and studying? I wish you much success on your journey! Congratulations again!!

@@visionlesbluus8535 thank you, I really appreciate it very much! I took the test this morning (05/17/21) and I honestly thought it was kind of hard. It took me the full two hours to take it. As far as studying, I studied for about 12 hrs total. I watched this video twice, during the first time through it I would pause the video and I took really good notes and then watched it a second time and just read along with my notes and wrote down anything I missed. I also watched Tony Northrup's video twice and did the same process with it. Then I watched Gary Glenn's video once last night without taking any notes and just really paid attention to it. The drive to the test center was about an hr and on the way my wife looked up some sample questions but by that time I knew most of the material so well that I would answer her before she finished asking the question. If you watch those three videos and retain most all of the information you will do just fine on the test. Good luck on your upcoming test and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask and I will help you in any way I can.

@@altitudeuniversity passed the exam, 88% last week1 There was a handful of questions on there that I wasn't expecting to see. like they reference sub-sets of "part 107" and then ask the question after using the subset title pertaining to a certain law. pretty annoying because I knew the law, but maybe not the exact subset number in some cases and really had to guess which rule they were referring to in that case.
