I had the psp and vita, sony tried to kill homebrew emulation left and right. They suck for trying to control what I do with something I own. They will never get another penny from me, especially with all the great handhelds out now.
We should stop calling them "free games" if you literally have to pay a subscription to play them. Nobody says "let me listen to this free album on spotify" either and for a good reason since there is a payment involved.
Somehow I missed the IGN story. That sucks. This reminds me of what the parent company of Motor Trend did with their takeover of a veritable constellation of auto enthusiast publications. For a while it worked. Then the rot set in and they started consolidating their various titles and purging lots of the employees who made them great. I get that businesses aren't in business to lose money; but, it sucks when a lot of the titles and writers you liked get canned in favor of the publications and people you didn't care for as much. It's not all doom and gloom though. As much as I liked "Petersen's 4WD" and "JP", "Four Wheeler" was the better title and deserved to live. Adding the best of Petersen's and JP to FW made it even better. I'm not so sure that "Motor Trend" is better today than "Automobile" was before it was canned though. But, there's nothing I can do about it. It's the same deal with IGN. There's nothing I can do about it except watch it burn. Sad. Then again, maybe not! Maybe it'll be sunshine and rainbows‽ We'll see.
When you get one of those pocket devices Joey, please do a comparison video of the screen VS other popular devices for GBA. I can’t imagine that a 4x upscale of GBA resolution on a 3.4 inch screen will be noticeable at all without holding it an inch from your face. Haha
Is there any news of AYN fixing the Odin 2 COD warzone issue? How it didn’t work, then it worked us in a workaround but that workaround got accounts banned?
@@BeeLow0519 Yep very much so. It's not perfect at all, but these devices out of any have the best chance of success basically without going Windows based.
why do they always give these devices such shitty cross shaped D-pads a lot of arcade classics require precision inputs so you need separate directional inputs for accuracy
Imagine the weirdos buying branded console handhelds. Wait five minutes and the Odin 3 or competitor, or any Windows handheld ever, will play them for free too. Fudge software comanies that steal others IP then lock it behind branded hardware. Im off to play TOTK at 2k stable 30 FPS with mods for free on my Odin 2, have fun playing at 720p at 20 FPS, Switch Owners. For those not in the know, the MOMENT SOny releases a handheld console, anything it does can be done by any other device with similar specs. This is the end of having to emulate hardware, and softwares nothing.
When the M18/R43P debuted a few months ago I was really enthusiastic about the form factor and did a ton of research on how to fix its flaws. I still am a fan of the vertical widescreen layout; but, I ended up not buying one so I don't remember the exact fix for the stretching. It was an easy fix though. You had to change one setting in the Retroarch config files from "18" to "22". What I don't remember is which option needed to be changed, and if you could do that on the system itself or if it requires a PC and a TF-card reader.
The pocket DMg is really interesting. Didn't think it would have such powerfull hardware. But i agree with you that the touchpad feels a bit superflous.
White model enjoyer I see, you have good taste lol. I want an odin 2 mini bad but at that price, I cant lol. But the price does make sense for the screen quality and chipset, I just use moonlight/sunshine a lot and was hoping it'd have a worse chipset to lower the price a lot
I'm a HUGE Kingdom Hearts guy! You'll be able to play every game outside of 365/2 Days, Recoded, and Birth By Sleep. Thankfully 365/2 Days just got a Fan Remaster for the PC. Hopefully Kingdom Hearts Recoded is next.
