The first time I ran into a shift leader at a fast food place that would change the dates on produce, I raised Such a stink. I was yelling, "You would rather make people sick than do your job right?? Are you kidding me?!?" The store manager tried to call me out on it, but calmed down considerably when I pointed out that most of our customers were either children or elderly.

On the Food Handler story, that's when you call the Health Inspector and the Better Business Bureau on the way out the door.

I haven't finished the first story yet but felt the need to comment. Where did this take place? Don't the municipal offices have RECORDS on just what the property coordinates are? I mean, municipal offices send out tax statements charging you for taxes on the property you OWN. So just WHO was getting those tax statements? If the 'old guy' claims that he purchased that 20 acres, then WHO did he purchase from?
Either the story is bogus, or this happened in some other country where the rules are different from North America.

I'm kind of thinking IF the story actually happened, the guy either tried stealing the land, or he got schiestered. Nobody buys land with a hand drawn sketch of the parcel of land as proof of boundaries. That's just looking to be taken for a ride.
Hey! Maybe I should find put who that guy is ... I got a bridge he can buy 😂😂😂

    • @mikkelnpetersen

      Also, a HAND DRAWN MAP?
Not even an official map with hand drawn marking on it, but FULLY HAND DRAWN (From how I understand it)?
*NO* court would EVER accept that.
Either he got scammed or was the scammer.

If I was in the situation of that fast food worker where things were not up to code, I would report them to the health inspector (anonymously if possible) and/or report the store manager to the levels of management higher up.

I would have done my best to discretely get the attention of the higher ups. If not for myself but the customers. Serving mismanaged food may put people in the hospital (or worse). I do know the people writing the checks would very interested in his activities. This is the biggest weapon you have.

The story about the drunk who hit her car. My friends Mom is very comfortable, and in the early 2003 timeframe she was 81, and driving new Cadillacs every 3 years and in 03 she had a new red Seville STS and was New years day at the close grocery store and leaving the parking lot this gal in front of her started driving very slow and she slammed on her brakes and they barely touched bumpers. No damage to either car. She started claiming her neck was injured so friends Mom pulls out her cell and calls the police, the cop came talked to both and came back to the Cadillac and gave her his badge number and told her that she could go , turned out the gal was drunk and he arrested her which in our state made the whole little accident her fault. My friends Mom is no longer driving and is still in her nice house and 103 years old

About 2 weeks after we got married, my hubby called me. Saying he was at the hospital. He said he was in an accident. I interrupted him saying. Hey, you know we have caller ID? It says you're calling from work. He says ahhh no fun. But I was in an accident. He had turned off our street onto the street out of the neighborhood. This old man with his wife pulled out right in front of him. Kept yelling, Why didn't You Stop! It was a 4 way Stop! Hubby says, No. There is No stop sign for me. They're waiting for cops, ambulance and the guy's son pulls up. Hubby's thinking oh great, now I gotta deal with this guy who probably thinks I almost killed his parents. He comes over and says, hey man. Sorry about my dad. This is the Third car he's totaled this Year. (It was only August.) Maybe this time we can get his licence taken away. Here's his insurance, I'll make sure your vehicle is covered. We had a 1974 International Scout II. Looks like a bigger, much cooler Bronco. With a remodeled front bumper. That whole vehicle was solid steel. So heavy, if he would've been driving any faster than 35mph he probably would've killed the guy. He had just given it a Brand New spray can paint job. And the paint on the bumper was scratched off a little. That's it. We got a check for $700 for it. Hubby hoped the son got his wish and Dad's license was finally taken away.

@@lianabaddley8217 she was actually a pretty good driver, but also didn't travel too far. She stopped driving as her vision was getting worse about 2008 I think, her last Cadillac was a white 2007 CTS, she leased them, which for her was a good deal.
I remember those Scout's, they were nice . My uncle had a 66 International one ton dually, my cousin still has it

@@califdad4 my almost 99 (in February) year old aunt still drives in the daytime. My dad, her 74 year old brother, willingly gave up his licence 2ish years ago due to Parkinsons. My hubby's Grandaddy also had Parkinsons but refused to give up his licence. Hubby's uncle kept trying with his DR, the DMV, and the police. To get it taken away. My Dad said he is old enough to know if he can drive or not. Unlike Grandaddy, he turned it in before any accidents. Some people are able to physically drive as they age. Some. Probably should never have been given the right in the first place. Cadillac's are awesome. They are also a heavy, very well built vehicle. We have a friend who for a while had both a Scout I for work and a Scout II for Play! Scouts are a Blast for Off-roading fun!

Question to what OP FAILED to answer
What happened to the staff that were short. Changed by the GM in the last story
Were they compensated for the overtime
The GM should be made to pay back all the overtime he short changed his staff from his pension, salary, house assets
The company should not be really held liable for his cheating
Once all his assets, pension fund, etc has been stripped completely and there were no more funds to attach from the GM then the company should step in and pay the balance

Most people have had their tonsils out, at least responsible parents had their children's taken out and tonsillitis is not contagious to others with them out.

    • @SeanBZA
      @SeanBZA 5 месяцев назад +4

Well, never had them out, and my doctors do say that over 30 not to remove them, because they are an important part of the immune system, and removing them late can kill you with the next infection. Had so many cases of tonsillitis that the doctor simply asked which letter of the alphabet we were on for antibiotics, and gave me the next one on the list. Then moved to the last resort ones, the ones where a dose does not cost a cent each, but where they were coming in, at state cost, of $10 or more per dose. US medicine prices are insane, look up the actual cost of the exact same medication, just generic, in a country like India, which produces around two thirds of the medication of the world, and compare the US retail price with the Indian retail price, which is generally a thousandth of the US price for the same exact drug.

    • @debbielmitchell4880

Responsible parents do NOT have their children's tonsils removed unless medically necessary. No responsible parent will authorize an unneeded surgery for their child.

    • @barbiek3987

And just WHY should my parents have had me, and my siblings, undergo NEEDLESS surgery? None of us got tonsillitis and our pediatrician never advised that we undergo the knife. I hope you haven't forced your children to undergo needless surgery.

Mine were removed at age 2, but that was only because I had repeated infections and was always sick from it. Both siblings still have theirs, and we're all approaching old age now. I still remember that operation like it was yesterday though 😂😂
