Unconditional Love was written in 1996 by 2Pac for fellow Death Row rapper M.C. Hammer. 2Pac recorded a demo of it himself before giving the song to Hammer, this demo is what was used for songs release. Hammer wrote this about the song: "This song was given to me as a gift from the late Tupac Shakur. He told me this was a song about how true love is unconditional. He wanted me to rap it because it reflected what I stand for. The secret is this is also what he stood for. We know that our Bible says that God's love is unconditional. Thank you Tupac for this beautiful, spiritual song." Hammer would later go on to mention his friendship with Tupac and the gift of this song to him in a TBN interview.
"Unconditional Love" was Recorded February 02, 1996, so he was 24 years and 6 months old. It was recorded for MC Hammer to show him how his song should sound like for his Death Row album.
2pac Died not more than a few months after this video (I ain't Mad at Cha) was made. Fun Fact: .. 2pac did so much after he was bailed out of prison and agreed to sign to Death Rowe Records. He shot 6 music videos and starred alongside Tim Roth in a major movie (Giidlock). He also recorded well over 200 songs, some say as many as 400 songs (and did a whole bunch of other things), so a lot of people tend to assume that he was with Death Rowe for about 2 or three years but the truth is that he was with Death Rowe Records for less than 9 months before he was murdered.
Tupac was a great poet. His voice was always powerful and pulled your attention as a listener. I just happened to be wearing my Tupac " Only God Can Judge Me" shirt today 🤣 which is also the name of one of his songs. 👍 Great reaction hard to not love these songs.

Music video was released with full clean version of song on all verses, you hear also difference in beat. Album one was made in 1995, clean in May 1996 for video, a couple days before video shoot. You have Bokeem Woodbine here playing friend of 2Pac, with which he was playing in Gridlock'd which he was shooting also in May 1996, that's how he got him to play in his music video, as they were doing a movie at same time. He was in scene where they were sitting at table and taking drugs, then he took his gun out on Stretch (Tim Roth) for calling him nigga (cuz he was white saying this).

You can't get unconditional love from a partner. Love has many conditions in the confines of a relationship. The closest thing to it is between a mother and farhers love for their children, a dog's love for its master.
@@jayt2257 You should already know. For example a woman will not want to be with a man that is inept, that is broke, that still lives in his mother's basement, that smokes weed everyday. A man wouldn't want a woman that is a hoe, a woman that's 300lbs, a woman that acts masculine, a woman that's untrustworthy, a woman with a jezebel spirit, I could go on. Love in the confines of marriage and relationship especially has conditions.
