I may be a lonely autistic EOD Team Leader, dreamer, and science nerd of many yrs, but the possibilities of hypersonic travel has always been is a fascinating thought puzzle to ponder. Given the limitations of modern materials as well as the heat generated by such a fast moving objects within the atmosphere, I have been able to come up with one single possible solution to quickly end any near future war. Imagine an weapon so fast, that, should it drop down to supersonic speeds. In order to provide any tactical advantage, such a weapon would literally need to be fired from from the sky via supersonic speeds to engage any ‘conventional’ weapons cashes or hidden bases. Then it dawned on me. This aircraft would have to create a ‘hypersonic-window’ via a ‘jump-shield-pocket’ in its trajectory. Meaning a separate weapon/missile launched from such a conventional supersonic aircraft to literally ‘gulp’ and superheat the ‘air-gas-plasma’ into a shield that would allow the original initiating aircraft that fired the hypersonic conventional aircraft to ‘ride’ the ‘shield-pocket’ in relative safety and only the original launching craft would be within the shielding point as any other aircraft would instantly destabilize the environment and be instantly destroyed. While utilizing the drafting protection as a shield. (Similar to an F1 race car slipstreaming a lead car without burning the extra fuel. This is, of course just an oversimplified metaphor for providing a partial window concept of understanding.) Then when the target area is reached, the weapon controlling aircraft would need to drop down to full supersonic speed which would allow it to break from the hypersonic wave through the use of a shaped multiple frequency hypersonic sonic distortion wave which would allow the aircraft to safely fall back and continue to maintain control of the hypersonic weapon. However, due to the distortion, speed, and proximity of the hypersonic weapon, only the originating aircraft that fired the weapon would be the only craft to abort of control the impact any designated target. (ie ultrasonic shaped pulse) there by slowing the aircraft to to under Mach 4.75 and below. While falling behind the hypersonic lead guide-weapon, maintaining an electronic means of controlling the hypersonic weapon could still be controlled via a coded laser instruction set from the originating aircraft who initiated the original attack. Under these circumstances, only the originating aircraft would have the means of control or detonation. This system itself could carry various payloads which be shielded by the hypersonic weapons tungsten case and housing. Even with that absence of High Explosives, the huge kinetic energy potential of such a weapon could provide a small yields of destruction similar to a small tactical nuclear weapon, without the Poisoning and radiological affects on the people, animal life, and vegetation. Such weapons could decimate entire enemy Carrier fleet, a Foreign Capital, or through the kinetic means of the kinetic energy alone, any enemy HQs would fall as there would be NO DEFENSE and would lead to a very short conflict which would ultimately save millions of lives on both sides.
Which would lead to one world goverment and eliminate the risk of a nuclear exchange that would end life on this planet as we know it. We could all move on together. Go for it.

So, Hermes is using the SpaceX approach to new vehicle development. Good for them. None of the majors can do this, except for Skunk Works (in principle).
For a number of reasons I'm tending to doubt this.....we cant even get our hypersonic missile program off the ground and to date have had 3 test failures......plus, the government recently announced that although they have successfully tested a new 6th gen jet, it wouldnt even be deployed until the 2030's, and that the advanced avionics for it are still to be developed.....PLUS.....in order for a hypersonic jet to be viable, a 6th gen (6g) communications system has to be developed for it that can circumvent the hot plasma that surrounds the craft at that speed. Even the Chinese, who are ahead of us in hypersonic technology, only recently came out with a 6 gen communications system as such for it's hypersonic missiles, and that is only in the testing phase........ I just seriously think we are quite a ways off from this. .....a long way.......
At least they are testing. They have done thousands of flight testing and we have three failures. You learn from failure so I’m not knocking em for that. I’m knocking em cause like Musk ,we can’t stop just because of a few set backs. People like Chuck Yeager understood this. SMH. Great points Tony.👍🏻
How do they get past the intensive g-force that a Hypersonic jet would develop? Are they going to be some kind of Hypersonic Drone because Hypersonic travel in gravity would probably destroy any type of biological creature in a gravity environment!
Traveling at hypersonic speed doesn't create G forces. It's turning at hypersonic speed which creates vicious G forces (not to mention massive drag-induced instability). It'd work like anything which already goes very fast. Making extremely huge wide turns, or just waiting to decelerate to make a turn. This video really doesn't appreciate how hard it is to make a fully reusable hypersonic aircraft though. It's orders of magnitude more difficult than making a single-use hypersonic rocket or missile.
Back in 2004, I used a Laminar Research, X-Plane flight simulator to develop a Hyper-Sonic aircraft that I named "Aurora". After I finished developing the plane, I decided to Fly using a VATSIM - global ATC network. I filed a flight plan starting at London Heathrow airport, passing over Mumbai, India and flew all the way to the Sydney airport in Australia. Commercial jet planes would take about 20 hours (10,800 miles). I was able to fly from London to Sydney using the Aurora. I cruised at an altitude of 350,000 ft and an airspeed of Mach 32. Flight time was 60 minutes ( London gate to runway (10 minutes) + Sydney runway to gate (10 minutes) = 20 minutes ) so the Aurora took 60 - 20 = 40 minutes to travel 10,800 miles. Aurora has a delta wing and 4 scram-jets + 2 throttle-able rockets. BTW, the Aurora does not create a super/hyper-sonic boom. I earned a virtual commercial astronaut wings !
An altitude of 350,000ft above sea level means you would be flying in space, because space begins beyond the Karman line at about 62 miles above sea level and 350,000 feet is equivalent to 66 miles above sea level. Thus, this means your aircraft flew in space while at that altitude.
The Aviation trend of replacing the pilot on board with computer or remote guy in a container is irritating, what the point of flying in hypersonic speed if no one in the cockpit to enjoy it
The problem is melting airframes... There are ways of working around that problem but are super hi tech and need multiple layered 100* core processor computers. You cant cool the airframe with anything that has weight because of space being at a premium. The second issue is that any pilot will have issues with G's on acceleration/deceleration/turning, making pilotless planes more optimal. So is it really feasible? .
Many RUclips videos are about secret military equipment and secret inventions and discoveries. If they are so secret, how do they end up on the internet for everyone to see?

Go for it.
@LouistheHedgehog it’s only the wrong side if you’re on the… Losing side! LMHO
INDEED, Mister Lonely! Jolly good one chap! You definitely earned a cookie‼️
Good video 👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏
Awesome!
Thank you.
Game over. That's pretty much what the USA Said when they realised both Russia and China has just rolled out Hypersonic technology
Did you know the USA have hyper sonic missiles a decades ago and those two junk countries just copy the USA
The TR3B.
Laughs at your Mach 5
Wow.amazing
When people ask about why the Defense budget is so large, most of the budget goes towards projects like this. You never want to let someone catch up to you in tech.
Defense budget clearly is no where large enough it seems then. To be so far behind the 8ball. Makes you wonder what the hell they are spending it on.
When China is so far ahead here. Either they are spending vastly more on defense then we are. Or they have a unicorn stashed away somewhere here lol. 🦄
@@BlazinNSoul your not wrong, and the military does spend a lot on research already. But compared to China, all of China's economy is designed to squeeze out everything they can for government gain. Including technology, their cyber warfare was the start. Them acquiring our most advanced Blackhawk after it went down in Pakistan after the Pakistan government sold it to China was a big help to their advancement. Combine that with the thousands of cyber attacks they launch everyday. Some actually get them information from Lockheed Martin. Boeing etc.

They are clearly busy with something, or they wouldn't have stopped production of the F-22.
They been playing with the triangle for years !!!
The body can't withstand such a high speed in the Earth's atmosphere
Not only that,NW. my friend, they try to keep us in dark about they started to fly with that speed in clock wise around the earth, and after several months and hundreds of rounds they landed yrs younger looking. No beer belly, or saggy butt “ by the women of course “ so, I was thinking about to sign up for a flight, maybe I can throw away my dental forever! lolololol
It's obvious that they have leap frogged past the original hypersonic jet aircraft.
Spending the $$ on drugs and hookers..
They've had this technology for over twenty years. Unmanned and completely silent to people on the ground. Seen it with my own eyes in about 2001 and 2010. They were shaped like the Galactic version.
Idiotic statement, and complete untruth. If this really exists, the Federal government would've given it away already, yes... as a nation, we're THAT stupid.
No dude, you're not quite right...
You watched too many Hollywood movies...
@@JSharap Both times it was night. In 2001 in August it was during the Persoid meteor shower, and the craft circumnavigated Portland at high altitude. The g forces would have been too much for it to have been manned as it came from the south, circled the city and headed back to the south. It was visible being only slightly lighter than the night sky and with no lights. In about 2010 I saw two going from south to north at 2AM. same appearance. Shaped like manta rays
I believe you. As Im sure that I've seen something that resembled this, fly over minneapolis and made no sonic booms. This was right about the night of when Derek Chauvin sentencing was and the military had basically taken over the city
Imagine being able to go from NYC to LA in less than an hour.
Less than an hour? My hypersonic is faster than yours!
Hello my cowboy friend, dream on brother, not in a foreseen future. And using pistols is not advised during the flight, because your own bullet can hit you by that speed.
The technology will be invented, for sure. But when it happens, maybe LA and/or NYC would not exist anymore.
Why? One hellhole to another.
Two places where nobody wants to live.
Very nice but it's not a secret because it's on RUclips right
Testing?
More like refining and perfecting.
Aircraft hypersonic missiles?
Hypersonic ICBM with multiple/modular independently targeting breakaway missiles?
Too late...both Russia and China beat us to the punch on hypersonic missiles.
They wouldn't have if we did not withdraw from the ABM Treaty in 2002.
We shot ourselves in the foot!
Assuming we don't already have the tech. Also, it's not too late. They may have publicly beat us, but if we catch up we're back to even footing
US pace very fast with hypersonic techs. Meanwhile Russia took more than 2 decades.
Since the last 7 decades, USA has lot of knowledges and data into hypersonic technologies.
I don't understand why lot of ppls beleives USA didn't catchup with hypersonic. Pls explain me How they can bring back safely an X-37B Space vehicule on Earth, when it crosses the atmosphere at Mach 27 ?
USA wants hypersonic tech, they go to OLD filing cabnet. 50 year old tech. sorry to china and russia, they think that old bone they dug up is new.
Lmao. You think we are behind 😆. Laughing in 130 disclosed weapons systems
@@JayNayMay everything ronny raygun talked about got done. and much, much more. its like the old joke about betting on your dick length, you only slide out enough to win.

just slide out enough to win.
Once a technology is demonstrated, its game on back engineering and spies.
So, we obviously decided to not demonstrait so much.
So, if you put these hypersonic jets out there for everyone to use besides the military, aren't you going to loose the military advantage? I mean, there will be a lot of copying going around and with that comes improvements that will be made by adversaries. Is this smart?
The fact that this information is on YT is evidence enough that they already have something better than hypersonic.
Ben Rich publicly admitted that we have the technology to bring ET back home on tv in the 90’s. I had the chance to meet him once, we had the same conversation. At the time I didn’t know who he was until he repeated the same conversation we had on national tv.
@@nightwing9670 Right. It drives me crazy when these "cutting edge" tech vids try to fool the gp into thinking that it is such. When the Digital Age took off.....that wasn't the only thing....

That's "lose" pinhead.
I like this military project

That is essentially what life is, a never ending battle of "sword" and "shield"
Oh I am loving this way too much
For a number of reasons I'm tending to doubt this.....we cant even get our hypersonic missile program off the ground and to date have had 3 test failures......plus, the government recently announced that although they have successfully tested a new 6th gen jet, it wouldnt even be deployed until the 2030's, and that the advanced avionics for it are still to be developed.....PLUS.....in order for a hypersonic jet to be viable, a 6th gen (6g) communications system has to be developed for it that can circumvent the hot plasma that surrounds the craft at that speed.
So secretive it's free on RUclips!!
How do they get past the intensive g-force that a Hypersonic jet would develop? Are they going to be some kind of Hypersonic Drone because Hypersonic travel in gravity would probably destroy any type of biological creature in a gravity environment!
I have heard/read that the forces that Cancel Gravity also Cancels G Force too ???
Look at the navy's new patents they got for inertia
Traveling at hypersonic speed doesn't create G forces. It's turning at hypersonic speed which creates vicious G forces (not to mention massive drag-induced instability).
It'd work like anything which already goes very fast. Making extremely huge wide turns, or just waiting to decelerate to make a turn.
This video really doesn't appreciate how hard it is to make a fully reusable hypersonic aircraft though. It's orders of magnitude more difficult than making a single-use hypersonic rocket or missile.
The thumbnail is the pan-am clipper from 2001
Back in 2004, I used a Laminar Research, X-Plane flight simulator to develop a Hyper-Sonic aircraft that I named "Aurora".
Hyper sonic fighter jet its so good
God bless AMERIKA
Sounds like it's more of a giant drone.
We just tested our own hypersonic glide and powered missiles.
Meanwhile the Chinese has a TikTok that defies all laws of physics
The Aviation trend of replacing the pilot on board with computer or remote guy in a container is irritating, what the point of flying in hypersonic speed if no one in the cockpit to enjoy it
I remember hearing about this in 2001. Project Aurora
If it would be secret we would not see anything here about it.
1.5 million is NOTHING!
I hope that it’s an indication that development costs are decreasing. That’s the key to a victorious program
No way, baby. It would melt!
We made a best fight jet in world!💐💐💐🎊🎊🎉🎉
It soo amazing.
Air Marshals will shift from being police officers to network security experts.
The video was just posted 2 days ago but says a hypersonic jet hasn’t been built yet. What about the hypersonic missile china just tested?
👍👍👍
To go with that hypersonic drone ...
You say that Russia is the only one who has tested hypersonic vehicles but that is not true, China has also tested them. And advertised it.
Letzgo Brandon
GOD BLESS AMERICA,,, GAME OVER!!!!!@!!
So is it really feasible? .
Oh look! It's the shuttle from 2001!
Cover picture on that looks like the pan-am space clipper from the 1968 movie 2001 a space Odyssey!
The main ,perhaps complex problem is probably going to be the materials that will be used.
Already have all the materials and have had them for decades it’s mostly the amount of fuel

The US Air Force or US Space Command has had Hypersonic Missiles and Air Craft since before April 17th 2013! The US Military Hypersonic Missiles Systems produced and developed bye Monsanto Space Systems was Successfully tested on April 17th, 2013! It was Launched from a Space Command Platform in Space Over New Zealand (captured on video), re-entered the atmosphere over El Paso, TX (also captured on video), and hit its target in West, TX (captured on video) all in less than 45 minutes from Launch to Hitting the Target 10,000 miles away?
Before you develop and test launch a Hypersonic Missile System you need a Hypersonic Aircraft to Launch the Missile from? Development on US Military Hypersonic Missile and Aircraft started back in the Early 1980’s on the Nevada Test Range? You would think after 40 years they would have been successful in their Hypersonic Missile and Aircraft programs?
Just like the Stealth Program once the Public was informed about the Stealth Program and Skunk Works Projects the US Military had a Squadron of over 280 Stealth Aircraft sitting on the Tarmac on Secret Bases Around the World!!
Heck your so far behind on your information? I have know about the US Military Hypersonic Systems Development For 20 years!
Now the US Military and US Space Command is in the Design, Development and Testing Stages of Warp Drive Faster than the Speed of Light Engines? The Public has Witnessed some of these Light Speed Engine Tests in Progress Over the US in Several Places over the Last 2 years or so? The Public sees these Tests as UFO’s and and the US Military tells the Public it’s a ICBM or Atlas Rocket Test? Bullshit I have seen Rocket Tests of almost all US Rocket Systems and None were Even Close to What has Been Seen over the Last Few Years!
Try and Update Your Information by About 20-30 Years! So you can get with the Current US Military Development Programs!!
I wonder what traveling at supersonic speed would do to the human body
