The Pelacañas Blanco is so great in a Ti Punch. I didn't know they had another expression. Gonna have to go hunt it down! Thanks for another great video, Arminder!
Good stuff! A lot to learn here. Been really getting into Agricole. Neisson Reserve Speciale aged Agricole was so good, I can't wait to get my hands on the unaged Neisson Agricole Blanc. I love your content. Another I must try is Rum Fire. I love the funk, I love savory but almost rubber level rum madness. Can't wait.
First of all, awesome hat. The Alambique is delicious. I actually did an experiment and steeped limes in it. It came out way better than expected. The Wisdom of Age was a purchase I made with speed and efficiency. I haven't put it in any cocktails yet, but it's great. I'm glad I bought two.
I could totally see the lime working really well with the Cartier 30. Let me know what cocktails you make with the Wisdom. Turner over at Rolling Fork suggested a Kingston Negroni and I think that would work really. The rum worked really well with the Campari in the rum firewalker
Great video as always!! kyrie II (I believe it’s aged 3 months) that’s dropping around when jabalese does and that will probably be the last distillate from the rummie club. Dying to try it. I also just got the Cartier 30 and blend 6 from Alambique today so excited to try it.
Thanks for the review. Eye-opener. I know haute rum doesn't necessarily mean u aged, particularly when it's Caribbean. I was really hooked on a bottle that I don't seem to find anymore, the Bacardi Gran Reserva silver. It's the bottle that opened the door on white rums for me. Is it still available? What's your take on it?
Would love to see this response! and doubling down, further wonder if Arvinder is interested in expanding to putting on something like a ticketed ‘taste & learn’ event?? Sounds like a fun way to learn & experience more new rums
That is tough! Hmm maybe Last Rites, Pacific Cocktail Haven and maybe ABV (specifically for their killer highballs). Oh and KonTiki (RIP) for all the good times and burgers
This is not a criticism Arminder, but it's interesting that your list of unaged cane juice rums does not include a single classic Agricole from Martinique or Guadeloupe. Not sure if this reflects your personal preferences or the US market.
That's because in this video (and all the others for December) I am only picking favorites from rums that were released for the very first time in the US within this calendar year. As far as I'm aware, there were no unaged agricoles from Martinique or Guadeloupe (classics or brand new ones) that were released in the US in 2024. Depaz Blanc was going to be released this year, but got pushed to early next week.
Yah that makes you guys don't get anything like HSE, Per Labat or La Favourite all of which issued new rums this year, and as I recall although the odd bottle of St James makes to US none of thier more esoteric stuff finds its way across the pond . Similarly about the only Mexican cane juice I can find in Europe is Paranubes and the blue bottle .
So honored to have dunderclap featured alongside these other unaged rums!!
Another great video to enjoy, looking forward to the winners this year.
Thanks so much for watching!

I'm definitely trying the Llamarada in a ti punch! Thanks!

Lovely video Arminder 🎉🎉
Thank you!
I just placed an order for the Rolling Fork Hampden bottle. Hell yes, thanks for bringing this to my attention!
awesome... hope you enjoyed it!

Oh right! Of course the II! Very cool. I’m def interested to see how just a short dip in some wood affects the rum.

Would love to try the Alambique, but it looks like it is not available in Europe. Any idea if it is on its way here?
as far as Im aware no immediate plans
What are your top 3 cocktail bars around the Bay Area?
Would love to see this response!

@ I second that… with more subscribers now I bet it’d be a sellout for sure, would love to sample all the rums I wouldn’t have a chance to otherwise!
