A trebuchet is not a catapult. A trebuchet uses a sling to hurl its payload while the catapult only uses momentum to throw the object. Trebuchets can also throw their payload further than a catapult, because a catapult usually releases the payload at the height of its trajectory while a Trebuchet will be timed to let go of the payload at a 45 degree angle. A 45 degree angle maximizes the combined effect of the horizontal and vertical velocities of the projectile and maximizes its final distance. There are a bunch of people on Reddit who will fight you about that statement.

Trebuches launch there payload through the use of a counterweight while catapults get their power through a sort of spring power by winding back an elastic pole and releasing the built up tension.
From what I know there is a comic book that came out with them racing for the billionth time. But Superman loses and then says flash has been holding back everytime.
@@clementkauppinen5215 basically when you get pushed off of a vine or rope like that at 7:57, which you need to be big for to take the damage, the game still thinks you're climbing no matter where you go, so you can just climb on nothing in mid air

@@clementkauppinen5215 starts with Jordan River. You have to do super precise inputs to collect the mushroom. On bridge of butter, there's basically a glitch that happens to allow Mario to climb the background. You have to take damage while climbing a rope. The game thinks you're still on the rope.
ik im late as hell but the flash has only ever (canonically) tied superman in races. which even those were for charity, and when they actually raced he absolutely demolished superman. just wanted to add a super late tidbit to the convo happening at 2:05
