  • Sudan War: UN Accuses Warring Sides Of Using Starvation As a Weapon | Firstpost Africa
The United Nations has accused the Sudanese Army and the paramilitary Rapid Security Forces (RSF) of using starvation as a weapon in over a year-long Civil War. UN has accused the warring sides of deliberately blocking humanitarian aid by attacking humanitarian workers and local volunteers. Meanwhile, RSF has been gaining ground in key battle zones. It claims to have captured the strategic town of Singa in the Sennar state in Southeast. Intense fighting has been going on in the state as RSF seeks to advance in the areas controlled by the Sudanese Army.

To the Sudanese High-Level Decision Makers,
Esteemed State Leaders, Military Chiefs, Temporarily Opposed Generals, Prominent Figures, Scholars, Business Owners, Diaspora Groups, Activists, etc.
It is imperative that you all come together and end the war that has ravaged our nation. You must convene, sit around the table, and engage in discussions with solid, inherent words addressing the concrete gaps present between you.
Respect our natural roots and heritage. Discuss the core issues earnestly and reach an agreement for the sake of Sudan’s grassroots. Our people deserve peace and stability, and it is your responsibility to deliver that future.
