The problem with Redmi Note series in India is that the company makes too many variants. Make it a simple choice. No one wants to do a PhD in phone variants.

Great review the phone is too expensive here in the UK launching for £60 more than its predecessor is a strange move considering the downgrades. I recommended going with last years Redmi Note 10 Pro instead or paying a little more for the Samsung Galaxy A52s.
Redmi’s pricing is weird. Here, in India the phone costs like £120.
Note 10 pro does not have proximity sensor hence making calling experience worst
@wizzgamer totally agree. I was looking at this to replace my redmi note 10 pro. But after the reviews I decided its definitely not worth it.

It's pretty amazing how Redmi can pack so much specs into a $180 phone, while Samsung seriously lags behind with outdated hardware and ridiculous overpricing even with billions of dollars in it's budget
Samsung is not at all worth. They are cheating people with their products. Not quality as expected now a days.
Cosidering they downgraded their phones too. I bought their A50 back in 2020 with Oled screen for $450 NZD now the A52 is $600 with a Tft screen like wtf?

Power Efficiency, and better ISP is what I care about in Processors in mobiles. So it's a tick in my box.

When Xiaomi releases kernel source for Snapdragon 680 custom ROM development will start and flash custom ROM. After using custom ROM with good features and smooth UI you will never use MIUI again.
As a redmi note 10 pro user who switched to 3 different aosp ROMs I disagree I came back to miui after 5 days of ROMs
The ROMs I used:
Evolution X (bad battery)
Arrow OS (too feature less)
Octavi OS (too many bugs)
And well all aosp ROMs have bad cameras quality and less features than miui

Which one to buy, brand new a52s 5g or, 1 year used s21plus?
If you don't need wireless or reverse wireless charging and not too fussed about the camera I would say the a52s as it has a headphone jack, micro sd slot, a decent camera, good battery and high refresh rate.
If the prices are similar go buy s21plus right now!

If you don't care about camera redmi note 11 is way better than Redmi note 11s because of the snap 680... Much more efficient and also being able to use custom roms

My Geekbench scores on this phone is varying from 150 to 370 for single core and 500 to 1600 for multi score. Is such a variation normal or something fishy with the unit?
well the Redmi Note 11 turns out to be a massive bummer... oh boy... hopefully the Realme 9 will be a better option...

Battery timing 13 hours sot if under
25% brightness & WiFi /airplane
3g sot 6-7 sot video
Good phone for casual playback
No point updating & forcing yourself to buy another
Poor extremely poor gaming performance
I play not so heavy games like shadow fighter & plant Vs zombie or angry bird
But these games run on 2013 hardware
So poor gaming
Mobile data and Wi-fi just stops working regularly. Wi-fi even the saved one just automaticaly disconnects Too many Times.
If wifi is not catching what is the use of Redmi mobile. Should be in garbage.
