I understand Jeff discouraging the whispering and do believe that could really pollute the game. The beach ball rant was bizarre and honestly despairing for me considering going to a live event of these if it ever comes to the South East. That is a spontaneous fun activity that provides a live atmosphere and different dynamic and doesn't affect the actual purity of the game in itself in any way. There is decorum, but people paid money to watch this live event, its dubious to just think they should sit there and watch and then maybe cheer after an answer.
Jeff is such a great host? Idk understand the hate. If he just let the crowd take over it would ruin the show. Y’all hush

Also, I need to go back to how it was when the dozen first started and let teams call a friend, double dip, etc when they’re doubling a question. When u first stopped letting it happen I’m pretty sure I remember hearing the reasoning be something about not liking the fact that ppl were using multiple lifelines I think, but now u allow to use 100 lifelines in the same question if they had them unless they doubled, which makes no sense and I watched an older episode and Dave deff agrees lol.
And I promise this is the last thing, but I notice on a lot of games, when certain teams come on there’s always at least 2 or 3 categories that each team has that they’re strong in that makes it on the show without being a niche, but yet I couldn’t tell you the last time I saw a wrestling category in the dozen, which is kinda wack Imo. Like Brandon and Fox are both good at it and Brandon even using 2 wrestling categories in his niche for the other team to pick from and they still obviously never picked them and I couldn’t tell the last time I remember a wrestling category/question tbh. I wanna see more wrestling, UFC, maybe even some NASCAR questions, and hell bring the mute back. There was a clear way of countering it, especially if someone thought they are so good in a category which was doubling so they don’t want to be muted, they can double lol. Idk why it is like that changed and seemed to be all for/cause of one cry baby tbh. I never saw or heard another team ever cry about being muted except for the experts, and that was them just being funny for the game and the crowd lol.

Whats CRAZY is that 100% HONESTLY last week while watching the dozen I said to myself it would be pretty funny if JEFF would hit the wrong buzzer on a Team lol and BOOM 💥 it happens ! I literally SPIT my Drink out my mouth WOWWWWWW
I’m not gonna lie, I miss the mute lifeline tbh it was one of the best lifelines in the game imo and just aggravates me it got taken away. Tho Jeff claims it was cause “it just never worked”, if i remember correctly that’s what he come out and said that was why he was taking it away. But if you watch this as religiously as I do, which I’ve seen every episode of the dozen like 3 times now, and Ik for a fact the mute was one of the more stronger lifelines cause u could legit take someone out of the game in a category that only they know.
Which if you ask me it was actually all Frank as for why it was taken away. If you watch either the game before it was taken away that Frank was in, or maybe it was in one last one and then taken away, but Frank got muted on MLB the very first question and they didn’t get the points obviously and lost the game I’m pretty sure.
Well Frank sat there the whole game, if I remember correctly, and literally complained the whole game about the first question and him being muted on it (tho I mean that was the smart play just like when anyone else used the mute in the game, use it against the “smartest”, well strongest player in the certain category that’s up, I ain’t gonna call Frank the smartest anything tbh).
But yeah, Jeff comes out after that game or maybe the game after and claims “We took the mute away cause it just didn’t work at all”, which anyone who is a fan of the dozen knows that the mute was becoming the strongest lifeline for the exact reason of being able to mute someone on the category they excelled in.
But go back and watch that episode before the mute was taken away that the Frankettes played in and tell me that it wasn’t taken away cause of Frank. And another thing, Jeff can take up for Frank on one of the first games he played and deny it, the comments are still filled with comments about him cheating and nothing ever happened to him. And also, he has little resources laying around him I’ve seen him using like rosters for teams he admits to using and Jeff never done a thing about, but if someone else even as much had a pen and pice of paper out to write down sum for the bonus round he would say sum.
It’s just always aggravated me that he seems to get special treatment cause he is the way hr is, and we all know what I mean. But you can’t watch that game and tell me the only real reason the mute was taken ash was cause of him complaining about the fact he was muted the first question for 45 mins then the whole game and then a few times he tells Jeff “we need to get rid of the mute, I don’t like it” basically.
